That moment when your file gets saved over and you lose a decent amount of progress [insert mixture of emotions here]

    Xiro replied

    *overwritten

    Shulk replied

It is not a mixture of emotions. It has its own special emotion which belongs only to that specific event.

    Xiro replied

    Welp.

*[insert special emotion specific to this event here]

    Shulk replied

I don't know its name but I know it exists.

    Xiro replied

    It's out there somewhere.

    Shulk replied

Maybe it's the "overwritten save file" feeling or something.

    Xiro replied

    Maybe it's that-feeling-you-get-when-your-save-file-is-overwritten

    Shulk replied

    Yes, that's the one.

    Xiro replied

    @The Protagonist

I know that feel quite well.

    littleTSUBAME replied

The Protagonist: Read it, I doubt you'll regret it. Though starting is always hard... ._. Especially in PH, since it gets a while to get into (at least it did for me).

    Skai replied

It's in my list. And from what I see, feels galore. Good or bad?

    littleTSUBAME replied

Depends on what you mean by good and bad... But for me, they're good feels.

Some people really get on my nerves

    Shulk replied

You know exactly who I mean.

    Shulk replied

I'm sure that "some people" know what they did.

    Shulk replied

That's not helping me dislike "some people" any less than I currently do.

    Shulk replied

I didn't deserve it at all. I don't know why "some people" thought I did.

    Shulk replied

Well I can't help that "some people" have a bad habit of stealing my food. Some people just like to eat.

    Xiro replied

    Whell then.

It sounds like some people have sticks stuck up their butt or something.

    Shulk replied

And my food in their mouths.

    Shulk replied

IT WAS ALREADY MINE. YOU CAN'T HAVE IT.

    Xiro replied

    ...There's always regurgitation. /shot

    Shulk replied

@Firaga YOU OWE ME MORE FOOD NOW.

@Xiro ... or payments. i think i like payments better.

    Xiro replied

... I guess payments would work too. At least in this case.

    Shulk replied

    Anything that's not regurgitation.

    Shulk replied

You are. And you will do it now.

    Shulk replied

    If you don't...

    Xiro replied

Where'd the muscular guy come from? owo

    Shulk replied

It was a spooky visualization to make people do what Chelsea says. Like give food back.

(also i feel like i'm taking my conversion to Chelsea a bit too seriously... Any bets for how long it'll take for me to put in a name change request?)

    Xiro replied

(Hm. Maybe this would be a job for Akame. I mean, one sword slash could take out all four.)

    Shulk replied

I could take out all four, one at a time, and make it more painful.

    (But Akame can't return for a month ;_; )

    Xiro replied

    That works too.

(Oh yeah, that thing is still in effect. .n.)

    Xiro replied

Then I guess it would have to be burned.

[insert JJBA Abridged Avdol joke here]

    Shulk replied

    I can burn, too.

    Shulk replied

    ... I'll freeze it off.

    Shulk replied

... I have my own methods of making sure it won't.

    Shulk replied

I'd say kill the nonbeliever but my other thing would be much worse.

    Shulk replied

Or will I? I know your greatest weakness...

so whats the diffinative xenoblade chronicles? new 3ds or wii? i have the wii version already and want to know if this port did enough to make it superior.

    Shulk replied

From what I've been hearing, the Wii version's still better, but the 3DS version is nice because it's portable. I haven't tried the 3DS version since I don't have a New 3DS yet, but I imagine I'll feel the same why by the time I get around to playing it.

    Shulk replied

    same way*

    bit replied

the 3ds version is also nice because you can actually find it new for under $90

    Shulk replied

    That too.

    Isaix replied

The Wii version is the superior one,so if you already have the Wii version there's no point in repurchase the game unless you want to play Xenoblade on the go.

    Sorual replied

alrighty. thx. i already have te wii version so ill stick with that xD

Tales of the Abyss 3d just crashed on me and I didn't save the game for a while. I guess I'm going to let my brother play the game until he gets to the point where I left off at.

  14. Shulk posted a status update

The day after a big Xenoblade stream always does feel a little slow. :/

    Sorual replied

    you stream? xD

    Shulk replied

No, I mean the Direct-style streams Japan's been doing for Xenoblade X. There was one yesterday, so today just feels kind of... boring compared to yesterday, when I learned a lot about the game and saw some cool gameplay. xD

I would like to stream, but I don't have the equipment and the idea of being swatted scares the crap out of me. ._.

    Tails replied

Swatted? What's that? I've been hearing about that lately but not entirely sure what that is.

    Shulk replied

It's kind of tough to describe, honestly. This article kind of sums it up: http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2015/feb/05/gaming-streamer-gets-swatted-as-online-griefing-enters-real-world

Basically, it's when people pull a prank and call 911 on someone who's doing a live stream. It's meant as a joke, but typically ends with innocent people having police or a SWAT team break into their homes since they have to take these calls seriously.

    Tails replied

Wow are you serious? That sounds horrible. So do the police end up arresting the person who did the prank call? Or does the innocent victim get arrested?

    Shulk replied

The victim is let off when they explain that it was all a prank and the police confirm that it was a false alarm, although the swatter usually gets away with it because they can't be tracked down. They don't really get punished, which is why swatting is still such a big deal.

    Tails replied

Wow that sounds like a horrible prank. And seriously!? They can't track the person that called them but can track them people that are "killers"? I find that a bit odd. But has the mods/creators of Twitch done anything to prevent or stop swatting?

    Shulk replied

From what I've read, the people who do the prank calls are typically hackers. That's how they find the information of their victims. Also, I don't know if Twitch can really do much to stop it. I haven't heard about them taking any measures against it.

    Tails replied

Oh wow that's dumb. These hackers are really sick people. I can see why you're afraid to start streaming.

    Shulk replied

Yeah. You think they would have stopped after seeing that it's not just a harmless prank, but I guess that makes some of them enjoy it even more.

    Tails replied

    What a bunch of sadists.

why do I get sick easily? DX

    Shard the Gentleman replied

Unhealthy sleeping schedule. Are you eating right? Because when I go a few days without eating, I usually get dizzy. Make sure you eat enough.

    Geralt replied

Take vitamins! That could very much help.

    Exilra replied

That's so cool :O What did you talk about with them?

    WakingDawn96 replied

Well the person tweeted what people would like to see about Rumble World on the website and I put down Mega Evolution in full detail, because I love Mega Evolution, and before I finished talking to them I told them I was a fan of the site!
