So I've played Salmon Run today finally, since I finally had time and it was opened for business, in Splatoon 2, and it is really hard but really fun as well! It starts easy for newcomers but after a while it becomes harder, and it's just an interesting mode altogether. It's also nice that it forces you to switch your weapon between each way, that is a good way of learning how to use each weapon but while also having to try and survive while you learn it!

Currently playing Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix on my PS4, and just taking a moment to really appreciate how awesome all the connections to the whole series work! I've been playing the games chronologically, and it really is something else!

WakingDawn96 repliedIf you think that is bad, just think of it this way, today is the first of August, yet we still know nothing of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon besides the first teaser stuff, and last year we were getting Alola forms on this day, so yeah, you think you have issues, but I have problems too!

But you're right, it does make the wait worth it, and you do get more hyped when the news finally does hit. I just really want to know if my little space buddy is okay or not, and I can't do that without information......(Not spoiling the game but you should be able to guess what I mean if you look it up)

So, Disney plans on making a kingdom hearts movie, let's hope they don't water it down to kid friendly material, I want the plot to be unchanged.

Honestly, I see what you are saying about how tense you want the series to be, but it is also kid friendly still enough, so I don't think it will be a PG-13 or above movie, but I can totally see a PG movie if they really were to make one. But for now, they are just showing interest and not actually making anything yet.
HeartlessAqua repliedKingdom Hearts is a Disney game as much as it is a Square Enix game, and Disney had released things less kiddy than KH. They're the guys behind Pirates of the Caribbean, remember? And they release those Marvel movies. And they released Rogue One. Kingdom Hearts is less dark than PotC and Rogue One and less extreme than various Marvel movies. If Disney does make a KH movie, why act so worried about it? Why?
HeartlessAqua repliedAnd on top of that, the story of KH won't by itself translate well into a movie. Changes will have to be made to make it more fluid for movie viewing. Changes will be inevitable, and even welcomed, since I think it's monotonous to just repeat the same story we all know. What matters is what these changes are and how well they're implemented.
Merilly repliedWhich doesn't have to be the case for KH. Advent Children also had another focus than the other FFVII games and, while containing some impressive battle scenes, wasn't all about defeating a nemesis most of the time but also about coping with the aftermath of the prequels. It wasn't the greatest movie ever but if Nomura works on the movie, I doubt he'd suddenly change their personalities.
Merilly repliedI don't think it would be. Apart from some of the series being directed solely at children, most of Disney's movies have an underlying tone which is rather mature. I wouldn't worry too much, especially when they really approach SE and Nomura with it. Like I said, if they had wanted to do it without guidance, they would have done so already.
PrinceNoctis replied@Merilly, Agreed. If we look at movies like Big Hero 6 and The Lion King, we can clearly see that Disney can still deals with mature themes and storylines in a smart way. Big Hero 6 was "aimed at kids", but the story was about death and grief and practically everyone could relate to it.

I miss all those different Mushroom Heartless -- they, not Riku or the Spirit Dream Eaters (being half-Light =/= being officially Dark Is Not Evil), came the closest to proving that whole "balance" thing, IMO.

So it's officially the start of the school year where I live, at least for Elementary through High School, and thankfully I don't have to go back to school! The only way this effects me is through my mother, who works for the school system, and so that's even why I know what time it is around here.

Okay, it just reached August in my time zone, and so only a few hours later, and we would have had Alola Exeggutor, Vulpix, Ninetales, Sandshrew, and Sandslash for a whole year!

Now I really need to save up my money if Nintendo and Level 5 expect me to buy 2 3DS games in the same month this year! September better take its time getting here! (But I am still so excited for more Yo-Kai Watch and I get to play Metroid again after so long, so I am still very excited, but still!)
