    Yup- and a third person shooter? o_o that's interesting... I liked that kind of gameplay style in Resident Evil Revelations for the 3DS and can't wait to see how it's done with CN: STEAM :)

    No, Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles. Nintendo seems to be done with character announcements at E3, and E3 was pretty much his one chance at showing up.

    Not really his only chance.

    Remember, Little Mac, Rosalina, and Greninja also joined after E3. There are also a bunch of returning characters that were announced after E3.

    The game is coming out in October, so there is enough chances for there to be newer announcements. It is also possible they might be secret unlockables. Might not happen though due to lack of story mode, but maybe they can incorporate it some other way.

    There are only a few months left to go until the 3DS version is released. They'd probably spend those few months showing more well known characters instead of going with one from a game that, while it's gained a larger fanbase recently, isn't as big as Zelda or Metroid.

    True... I just don't see it happening anymore, though. It really sucks, since he's the only character I really wanted (I also wanted Little Mac, but not nearly as much as I want Shulk).

    You'll never know... we still got time before the 2 games are released :P I'm expecting at least a few more characters to be shown/revealed so don't lose hope :)

    I'd expect them to show characters from more well-known games like Zelda or Fire Emblem for those reveals, though. I don't see them using Shulk to build up the last bit of hype before release.

    Pac-Man was a pretty obvious choice since Namco's helping with Smash 4, and Mega Man feels like a character who would've joined at some point. :/
