How can you be sure if you're in love?
Dracozombie repliedNo clue. I approach it from a more subtle angle than giving EVERYTHING to be with someone. I like to think it's when you just really want to help someone live your life, and they help you life yours. Kinda like finding a right partner in a co-op game that compliments your playing style/goals.

Dracozombie repliedIt's sort of hard to tell. I think there's a lot of overlap when it comes to emotional closeness. I mean, I've told dark secrets to my best friends and I don't love them in a romantic sense. So it's hard to judge romantic compatibility just based on closeness. It's so tricky.

Ghost repliedIt's weird haha, I can say "I love you" to my friends all the time but when it comes to him i just vsnt spit it out. Maybe that means I do love him but for whatever reason I'm holding back...? I don't know me too well but maybe out of paranoia or fear of losing him. "Can't lose what you never had in the first place"
Ghost repliedEven in the past like I've always had this personal issue with lusting over people. I never ACT on it since I typically prefer to think things through first, but I've often had these brief feelings with being temporarily infatuated with people. It's not the case with him, I'm positive, but maybe that's just made me...I dunno haha

Oh yeah for only a couple weeks (just started) I picked up some books on ASL and I'm trying to teach myself. Unfortunately they don't offer this in my school so I've been using videos and books. Is anyone else learning/knows ASL who would like to maybe video chat sometime and practice or try to communicate? Thank you!

My campus had some awareness campaign where they cover the bathroom mirrors and tell you you're perfect the way you are. I appreciated the sentiment, but all I could think of is that I'd really like a mirror so I could comb my hair.

I think there's a difference between agonizing over your body image, and checking that you don't look like a slob.
