RoxSox repliedI can't confirm it but I heard word of mouth that Jon was visiting LA around the time this was filmed. Jon's also been associated with Polaris before, which is where the Table Flip series originally came from (this was actually, loaded on Polaris' own website a while ago). "Him", to me, looks like it could be Jon. A lot of people say that "him" is supposed to be Markiplier, which doesn't make sense considering that apparen...
RoxSox repliedWatching that ten seconds in HD on full screen has led me to one conclusion: The cloak covers up his thick bodice, but you can briefly see the side of his head, which is a pretty thick head, the hand comes down, and it could easily be Jon's hand, he says "Finish the deck." in a voice that Jon could easily speak in, and you see his head briefly again as he walks off. My professional opinion as a person very familiar with Jon's face says that it it's Jon.
RoxSox repliedWell a lot of people are still in that "Jon said he moved on to other things." mindset, so they don't expect him to appear in anything Grumps related, and Markiplier is part of this table flip thing, so I can see where they'd see that. But it just looks nothing like Mark. So it's either Jon or someone who looks a lot more like Jon then perhaps they intended.
RoxSox repliedEven if they did, they could still make up about whatever happened. I personally think that Jon wanted to work on his JonTron stuff, and he wanted to invest more time in his personal life with his girlfriend. Maybe he went to Arin saying "I'm moving to New York with (Jons GF name which I forget)" and either Arin: Got mad, because Jon was a big part of Grumps and Grumps was getting really big. Or he accepted it, and they both moved on.
