    It's considered the Neon Genesis Evangelion of the shoujo genre, so that should tell you something.

    Umineko? Definitely. I actually prefer Higurashi, though the original Umineko visual novels are allegedly superior to the anime adaptation.

    NGE goes down the crapper around episode 20, maybe earlier. Too bad. Before then, things felt like they would've gone someplace meaningful.

    I'm not one to judge since I haven't played the visual novels for it or Higurashi, but I still love the Higurashi anime.

    He's cute for a video game character. xD I was gonna mention the jailbait thing, but I didn't feel like it.
