DoDo4869 repliedWell, like Blank Shell said before, calling the Suicide Prevention Hotline might be a big help. The people there should be able to help him. Except that, the only thing you can do is to be there for him. There is a procedure called "CLUES". It stands for Connect, meaning you should show empathy towards your friend. Show him that he is not alone, and show him that he is in fact very important to you. The L stands for Listen. You should always listen to what he has to say, it really hel...
DoDo4869 repliedit really helps sometimes to just talk about the problems. U would be understand. Try to understand how he feels (although it might be very hard). You shouldn't say things like "Don't do this or that" but rather "I know it may be heard, I understand how you feel". Again showing empathy is really important.
DoDo4869 repliedE is expressing concern. Show him that you really care about him, and that you are there for him no matter what. Make sure that he also knows how important he is to you. And last but not least is the S, seek help, which in this case is to better call the Suicide Prevention Hotline. He might be very upset by hearing this, but try to make him clear, that you don't want to harm him, but rather help him and that it is for the best.

Sounds like he is pre18, Treat it seriously regardless, but it sounds like your friend is trying to be an edgelord, from the things he is saying (2,7,8,11,12,13, and14) honestly go tell his parents or a school counselor, it kills the Schrödinger's cat of possibilities, either he is trying to sound cool and edgy and will get an earful of it, of constant harassment from his parents and counselor, or he actually gets the help and support he needs

Sorry though, your friend sounds like this guy I knew in high school who watched too much anime and started spouting all of this quasi-philosophical garbage about society and interpersonal relationships, and would go on and lie about having life threatening illnesses just for sympathy points. It's really cruel when people do that to their friends just so that they look cool, because I can tell...
