That mini comic in the DAYS manga with the Dusk leaving Xion flowers that literally translate to "Thank you". Just all of that. Accepting it as canon, and you can't stop me.

    catmaster0116 replied

Ironic that the Dusk remembers Xion xD

    Philip Ellwell replied

A bit. She's the only one who treats it well.

    catmaster0116 replied

True that xD. Don't you just love it when the manga adds these little quirks?

    Philip Ellwell replied

It's interesting... the DAYS manga is better than the game in spots.

    catmaster0116 replied

Did you read the Chain of memories Manga? I lost it when Larxene was reading Marquis de Sade and that scene with 'Nomura Fried Chicken' lmfao

    Philip Ellwell replied

    I have.

I'm glad the De sade bit got left in xD

    Xiro replied

Dang I need to get the rest of the Days books >w<

    Philip Ellwell replied

You're in for a fest of feels and strange humor if you do

    Xiro replied

    Aw ye

    Philip Ellwell replied

Also a ton of implied homoerotica with Saix/Axel

The manga people ship them, it seems

    Xiro replied

    Welp

Looking forward to Wonderland shenanigans, tho, from what little I remember

    Philip Ellwell replied

Oh my god, yes.... no spoilers, because that epic mess needs to be read to be believed.

    Xiro replied
    xD
    Philip Ellwell replied

Are you reading the print ones, or online?

    Xiro replied

I think I read some of the scans when they were uploaded here, but I started buying the manga so now I'm sticking with teh books

    Philip Ellwell replied

I lucked into them in print. They're better scans than the online ones, and don't edit the jokes out

    Xiro replied

At least Yen Press released all the volumes in Days, so that's nice >.>

    Philip Ellwell replied

Yeah, those were the ones I got.

They're version of the original KH is kinda...eh..though.

    Xiro replied

I always figured the KHFM manga was different because it was the first xP Unless I'm forgetting something

    Philip Ellwell replied

It edits a few references at near random, and doesn't add any new scenes I've noticed. All it does it give you volumes 1 and 2 of the original series in one.

    Xiro replied

    Oh, for KHFM vs KH1

Omnibuses are kinda nice sometimes though. Like, CoM is conveniently in one volume xP

    Philip Ellwell replied

Not that I noticed: special scenes in KHFM aren't in the manga...I think FM meant it combined the skinny volumes into two.

CoM made some weird edits too: Like "Old Woman" becoming "Lady", and air brushing Larxene's book cover

    Xiro replied

    Yeah, probably

Dang, I don't think I noticed that. Then again I didn't read scans for CoM

    Philip Ellwell replied

I weirdly have the Yen press one volume, and the original Tokyo Pop volume 2, because I ordered them from a moron.

    Xiro replied

    lol

    Philip Ellwell replied

    Yeah xD

They didn't change much else, that I saw: The TP and YP editions match perfectly art wise.

    Xiro replied

Neither of them finished KH2 as well Dx

    Philip Ellwell replied

I THINK Yen Press got close, but I'm not super interested in the KH II one. I've got Volumes 1 and 2 from TP.

Supposedly TP manga's are randomly worth something now?

    Xiro replied

Yen Press had... three big volumes I think? Which went up to 7 normal volumes iirc

    Weird .-.

    Philip Ellwell replied

    I think so. Not sure.

And if Tokyo Pop is really worth something, that's pretty random. I know they shut down, but I have tons of their books from used places.

    Xiro replied

Time to sell that TP KH2 Vol2 I have xD

But iirc they shut down a while ago so it's kinda weird if this price spike is recent ._.

    Philip Ellwell replied

    If it's in good condition.

It's just a rumor I heard looking up stuff on a manga series I was collecting: the old TP versions were super pricey

    Xiro replied

I'll... have to check the condition, actually

Might've just been typical online price jacking lol

    Philip Ellwell replied

Mine are piss poor for the one set, decent for the other.

My original copies are more tape than book.

Well, it wasn't on that series: 50 something for the TP, 20 for the YP editions.

    Xiro replied

    Dang ._.

    Philip Ellwell replied

    For 8 year old manga?

    Yup :I

    Xiro replied

    ....

    *throws bills at monitor*

    Philip Ellwell replied

    TAKE ALL MY MONEY

    catmaster0116 replied

    THIS escalated quickly xD

No clue what you mean, Cat-san

  8. Robbie the Wise left a comment on catmaster0116's profile

"Hanshin" would be the correct word for demi-god or half god,in Japanese right?

    catmaster0116 replied

Not sure lol, I always thought 'Han' was the word for half. Shin is an alternate pronunciation for the word 'Kami' which you correctly identified as 'god' or 'deity' like existence xD. 'Hen' depending on how you write it can mean either 'change' or 'strange/weird'

    Robbie the Wise replied

Yeah Japan has so many invocations in their language lol. I'm drafting my Super Sentai, based on Greek Mythology. Olympus Sentai Hanshinger.

    Robbie the Wise replied

"The Alpha Warrior, Heir of Aries! Son of Cronus, Hanshin Red!"

"Shaker of Earth, Rage of The Sea! Son of Poisedon, Hanshin Blue!"

"Warrior of Shadows, Prince of The Dead! Son Hades, Hanshin Black!"

"Warrior of Cunning, Brilliance of Mind! Daughter of Athena! Hanshin White!"

Thx dude! I have a general idea of how I want the story to go. Once I start writing it, you'll be the first to see lol.

    catmaster0116 replied

LOL submit it to Toei jpn! You also need to consider their upgrade powers and the giant mecha '-ohs'.

You remind me of another Toku friend who went and designed a Kamen Rider belt based around Kingdom Hearts....apparently it uses 'Keychains' to unlock 'Command Styles' lmfao.

    catmaster0116 replied

    The RNG sucks ;P

    Robbie the Wise replied

    "It's a trap!"

    Robbie the Wise replied

I at least managed to snag Piglet, the two stage boosters are a necessity at this point in the game.

    Xiro replied

Piglet is nice to have xP

    I should've learned my lesson with Axel/Roxas/Xion SPs ;n;

    Robbie the Wise replied

Honestly it's not worth it to dump a bunch of money. I usually get the discount 3000 pack during epic carnivals. That way I get a least two shots to get good medals. But other then that it's not worth it. Especially because quest medals are included in the pool of premium medals.

    Xiro replied

What are in-app purchases tho lol

I just save up medals the normal way. Spent a lot of them trying to get the SPs, and I was just under 6k when I tried for Terra

    Robbie the Wise replied

If you're f2p, the avatar boards are a better investment then the Epic Carnivals. The rng is too bad. You really got to read the fine print and see what the guaranteed pulls are.

    Xiro replied

Hmm, that probably is a better idea. More cost wouldn't hurt.

I mean, Piglet was one of dem (somewhat) guaranteed ones and I got him :P

    tsumigami replied

at least you don't get 3 monkeys. =(

If I can't spend actual money to get breath of the wild when it releases because I have to pay college tuition, I'll just have to sell a few games that I own just to get it since you can do that with gamestop

    Xiro replied

Doesn't Gamestop... give you bad deals, though?

    DaxtotheMax replied

I remember getting 11 cents for a game once. I must have sold like 20 games just to get $60

    Exiblade7 replied

I don't think gamestop gives people bad deals as far as I know because I've done it before

    Xiro replied

Ah. Well if you've been fine before you should be fine again xP

    Exiblade7 replied

#DaxtotheMax I think it depends on the price of the game you're selling

    MythrilMagician replied

Second hand games tend to have a lower value as far as I'm concerned, so it would be better to save some money. You've got a long way so put like a couple of dollars aside every day. You're bound to have more than enough by the time it releases

    Xiro replied

    @Myth 0.11 USD tho

    MythrilMagician replied

@xiro that sounds ridiculous. Can't be that bad.

    Xiro replied

    ... 0.15 USD?

    Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) replied

Those deals are terrible, at least in GAME, you sell your game for 50 cents and find it on the shelf for 15€ the following day
