What made you fall in love with kh?

Posted

Ok, name the first kh game you played and why and or what got you hooked on the series.

Mine was the gba version of chain of memories.

What got me hooked was the story and all the characters from the Disney worlds. I thought it was awsome to be able to play a game alongside your favorite Disney movies.

Kh2 though is the one that got me really hooked on the series. for the same reasons above.(played the game for almost two days straight when I first laid my hands on it)

The Story plot and Characters

Come on now bashing people around with a giant key who wouldn't fall in love with the game xdddd jk. On a serious note it was the fact that it had a reall good story supported by really good characters (Minus Vexen).

First game i played was kh2 so the story, the organization cloaks, the keyblades, twilight town. True story.

Sora & Riku. No lie, after getting interesting in their friendship *coughrelationshipcough* I decided to play the game again and really pay attention to the story. :'D

I had refused to play it on the basis that Disney and Final Fantasy did not mix. Then I got bored one day and gave it a whirl.

It all went downhill from there.

The same thing that has made a fan of Final Fantasy since I was 4, characters and story

Days, everything, esecially the Disney Characters and the emotion the story brought me, which is ironic considering that nobodies aren't supposed to have emotion.

KH1 because of the awesome epicness of amazing epicdom that is Kingdom Hearts.

the plot

The first one I played was Kingdom Hearts 1.

When it first came out, I was REALLY young so its been a major part of my life

My first game was KH2 but I only played through Roxas's week in Twilight Town I was so confused like "what happened to that spiky haired kid with donald and goofy" later I played the first one and then Days and it all made sense, but days was the game that really hooked me.

The first game I played was the original 'Kingdom Hearts'. The idea of traveling to distant and far off places, chock-full of timeless Disney characters, both heroes and villains, instantly got me hooked! Who couldn't love a series where Mickey Mouse is king?

Who doesnt dream of adventure and seeing other worlds?

I could relate to Sora, thats what got me hooked.

Started with KH1. Saw a commercial on TV and it looked fun and interesting. Than I actually played it and that was it I was hooked. Loved the story, the characters, the gameplay, just everything was amazing.

The first time I saw KH was in the first Beta trailer..I thought I could play as Donald Duck and when I got the game when it came out I was like "Hey who's this kid?" but that boy got my heart quickly. Over the years I went through very difficult times for me, people gave up on me, but I guess Kingdom Hearts was always there. While I was going through these difficult times, I would think about uh..making myself go away. I always thought of quotes that would make me feel better, still do. "The Light will never give up on you" and "Don't worry, there will always be a door to the Light." Things like that. I guess these characters kind of saved my life, so this series is very dear to me.

I played KH1 first.

I like stories that are more on the complex side.

I picked up BBS because I thought the single story told through three separate perspectives would be interesting.

And I ended up being firetrucking confused by the references that I lacked knowledge from the past titles.

Then I looked into the other games and, before I knew it, I was wasting away my life on forum for KH fans.

Why do these things happen to me?

The first one I played was the one that started the franchise, Kingdom Hearts 1.

What got me hooked was that Disney characters were in it. And, it looked fun to play.

Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories for the Gameboy Advance. Really hooked me, and from then on, it was the story that kept me going.
