Oh, I'll probably get one someday, though chances are not for a while.  (Not until a PS5's in the making, no doubt. )

  • Only if a game I want comes out on that system.   That's basically how I got most of the game systems I have now.

I only just got a PS3 last year. Lol.

Backwards compatibility. Yes.

That is a thing of the past.

Really? Because  from what i've the PS4 is the only console that is not going to have backwards compatibility. The Wii U will have backward compatability with Wii games even though it is next gen. And we have yet to see if Microsoft's new Xbox will be backward compataible. So don't assume that it is "a thing in the past" ust because the PS4 won't have that ability.

Anyway as for this thread. I'm going to wait until Sony announces the price of the new stsyem to determine weather I'll get it on launch day or wait until sometime next year.

If KH3's gonna be on it, then I'm getting it!

Eventually. I'll have to see the game line-up and numbers before making any real plans.

I'll get it after 2 years from now (2015)

Right now I'll buy a Wii U near the time of E3 and I'll keep playing my Ps3 until it runs out of games

I never mentioned the others. I said it's a thing of the past. Which is true in Sony's case. And it's no big deal. The PS4 won't increase your PS3 game's quality. The PS3 improved the PS2 games quality but that was only because of HDMI and Blu-ray disc players.

Only if a game I absolutely need comes out for it. Otherwise, I'm not interested. :P

for me it depends mostly on the rumors about used games. It already gets 1 strike for me because it isn't backwards compatable and the no used games thing would end it for me

The thing about rumours is that they're only rumours. Sony confirmed that the PS4 will play used games.

Most likely not.

Unless there is a Kingdom Hearts game for it, I won't be getting. I'm not really into Sony consoles. I just got a PS2 mainly for Kingdom Hearts, but I also use it to play other games like Thrillville that I never got to play.

watch as Microsoft pulls the same thing they did with Xbox 360 and Xbox games.  That was just stupid.

I will decide after E3 2013.

Nah. Parents will probably complain about having too many consoles around.
