What would you guys think about a final mix DLC instead of a re-release? If you think about it, the final mixes were basically just the idea of DLC before it was a possibility. (changing/adding things to the game. Come on it's like the same thing.) Anyway I know everyone hates final mixes because they've been exclusive to Japan and all, but think about it. Nomura and the Kingdom Hearts series basically skipped the whole DLC/online crazy generation. What if they released the regular version of KH3 first so it wouldn't take as long and then when they would normally release a final mix of the game, they release a patch or DLC addition to it calling it Final MIx. What do you think? Love it? Hate it? Let me know.

yup. DLC can make everyone happy. Its was stupid that the final mixes stayed on japan for so long when there are fans overseas.

But i never thought nomura would apologize for that, kidna surprised me.

I like that Idea very much actually..... I would also get that DLC and I usually don't bother with buying DLC....

Maybe KHIIIFM WILL be the KHIII DLC, though, I don't really think I like that idea a whole lot :[.

Everything this man has said. Knowing Square they WOULD do this. And besides they make more money of Final Mixes, why throw that money out?

Yeah and then they'd get a Game of the Year Edition and title it Final Mix  and include all the DLC with it on disc. Basically do the same thing as every other game that re-releases with all the DLC on it.

Why charge $20 for Dlc when they can charge us like $70 for a whole new game, that people would actually buy.

I'd buy if they hopped on the Season Pass train. Those who bought the Season Pass, usually $20, get all the DLC for that one price.

I don't remember the last time Square Enix did a reissue anyway. DLC is better.

Hm... In a way that can be awesome, why? Because that means us, european and american fans of KH will have the complete game! But we need to be realist, the final mix version is not a little update of the game. There is more cut scene, boss fight, items and keyblade... This is why I think they'll not release some dlcs for KH

Dlc's are usually added treats to keep a game alive for a little while longer in a persons mind, that being said doing this for a kingdom hearts game would be like no other hell on earth

 

If it happens, they run the risk of damaging the plot for a few somolians, kh fans have been waiting patently, dealing with buying useless crap ( I'm looking at you recoded) the last thing we want is for the cycle to start again with something as stupid as a side story with Donald and goofy for 15 bucks,

 

The sad part is that even if this did happen, most kh fans like us would buy it, it's just programmed into our heads a bit too far to do otherwise...

I just assumed that thats how they were gonna do it, it only makes since why release a whole nother game for more content. Those days are in the past !! And then they could prolly do a KHIII Final Mix+ or Complete Collection or sumthin

I'd rather do that than buy the game twice, or not do it twice if it doesn't come to america. it would just be easier and cheaper for everyone

I'm surprised at how many people are against change. To the person who worried about the ending not being the true ending; that is exactly what they did to us with BBS final mix, showing Aqua in the realm of darkness etc, so it's exactly the same as what it is now, except us Westerners can experience it. Adding DLC would be fine in some instancez. An example: Atlantica in KH2 should have been DLC, same with the Winnie the Pooh levels. Completely unnecessary (well, maybe not the Winnie the Pooh level...). They add nothing to the story, and could have been sold after the games release, which would have cleared up resources for worlds we actually want. Adding some keyblades, such as the rewards to beating Ice Titan and Sepheroth would have been excellent, without breaking the game. Having DLC means that they can play it safe with the main game (such as having no Marvel or Star Wars) and take risks on unconventional worlds/stories in the DLC. Such as having a side story where you play as Riku, for instance, or Mickey, or Axel, without ruining the main plot.

As long as it's not stupid, pointless DLC. If it's as much of an upgrade as KH2FM was then i'm all for it.

Recoded is the DS version Felix. You might be talking about the mobile Coded.

How about no Final Mix? I don't wanna buy the same game twice...and I don't wanna pay for DLC that should of been(or mostly likely is) in the Disk to begin with.I hope they stop making Final Mixes and actually put everything they have into the first version for once...not save some of it for a re-release to sucker us consumers into buying them again...that's a total ripoff

 

If you think they didn't have all the stuff they added in the FM Versions of previous KH Games than you're really naive.They cut that stuff out from the first releases in purpose so they can get people to buy it again later for some extra stuff
