I could have sworn I read somewhere confirmed from Nomura himself that they are indeed getting new outfits at some point in the game, but I can't find that interview anywhere. Trust me, I looked for a long time.

I'm hoping that we get kh2 outfit for a bit and then get the new KH 3 outfits.

What I found just was basically along the lines that the announcement trailer was beta an outfits and gameplay will be introduced later.  I couldn't find one that specifically said they'll get new outfits.

They could change outfits based on worlds. I know that has already happen but lets do it again!

Sora should new clothes that either are a combination of his 3D clothes and his KH2 clothes, or something completely new. Either way the new clothes he gets should give him new or advanced drive forms if they are from Yen Sid ( at least I hope)

 

Riku should get something completely new IMO. maybe something that symbolizes his balance between light and dark

 

Kairi should get a new costume too since she is going to be trained by Yen Sid.

I just hope Sora doesn't get yellow shoes. I hate the color yellow...Especially on something as important looking as shoes. His KH2 shoes were badass. I hope they make his new shoes white or something.

That is probably whats going to end up happening. I doubt that they will spontaneously get drastic changes. The only unexplained changes would probably be in hair (Mostly Riku) and maturity look.

In all honesty, Sora's was bad and Riku's was actually very well put together.

I personally want Riku's KH2 outfit to get some more screen time since it hasn't really gotten much, but... oh well...

Outfits aside, I want Riku's KH2 HAIR back. That long hair was epic! I still can't accept his DDD haircut!

I mostly hated the whole KH1 model concept. I'm sick of Sora's KH1 model. I need more KH2 model action, including the outfit. His shoes have always held yellow though.
