They defeated Sin in X. Sin does return after the calm though.

Because of demand. FFX was the first PS2 era FF game so has a larger fanbase who would want and buy the game.

If Sin returns, it literally means that the entire first game is pointless, and renders Yuna's accomplishments, and Tidus's passing over, as moot points.

I was checking the Japanese charts for the past two weeks and LRFFXIII is no where to be seen.

 

Sure it came on #1 on it's first week but it dropped out of the chart immediately after....something that didn't happen for neither XIII nor XIII or any previous FF game for that matter

 

Final Fantasy is being murdered by those stupid decisions and it's all Toriyama's fault

 

Final Fantasy now has just become another Street Fighter IV all over again.....people are never asked for sequels or another edition yet both Square and Capcom keep on doing it anyway

I sincerely, sincerely hope there's gonna be more to it than what I'm imagining, because otherwise the entirety of the original FFX was a waste of 40+ hours.  And, for that matter (and no matter how many people complain about the game), X-2, which is about Spira trying to adjust to a world without Sin in it.

I would much prefer a prequel about Braska, Jecht, and Auron thank you.

I guess this could isn't much of a surprise for  alot of people, a company doesn't remake all the games of a story arc of a large series, just for something, just like the ReMIXes are for KH3, the remakes would had been for X-3. But the real question is: Why the hell is Sin back? Will Toriyama continue throwing FF down the drain, after that horrible LR:FFXII ending, and now this game that just by what that 30 minute drama show is obviously going to have a crazy story that is going to make FFX useless.

True lol. I think it releasing hinges on how successful the HD collection is. If it sells 4 million+ it's pretty much guaranteed to happen...

This is very interesting so it seems Yuna and Tidus broke up and Yuna is going on another adventure to defeat Sin. Does that mean that the summons will return? If so maybe we will get new aeons to join the battle! Also will it probably be for the PS4?
