Posted January 2, 201411 yr It seems like a lot of people just lost interest, and never really talk about it anymore.
January 2, 201411 yr Probably because there isn't much going on in the Kingdom Hearts world right now that's actually new. I don't speak for everybody though. That's just me.
January 2, 201411 yr I'm happy with each new game and look forward to KH3, I would happily explain the whole series to someone who asks and has never played, but I don't have that childhood excitement for things anymore
January 2, 201411 yr Well, it's clear that while we're growing up, we become busy people, with school, college and stuff. So we've got less time to think about these things because we have now new things to worry in our personal lives. I still love KH from the bottom of my heart and I'll get any and all games that are released, but I think that over the years my interest for games, not KH, games in general has decreased a little. This can be exemplified by the fact that I almost don't buy new games, mostly of old series that still produce new games. And the games I play the most are old games that made my childhood [mainly ps2 games]
January 2, 201411 yr Well, considering that it's been my favorite game series for 11 years... Yes, I still love it. There's just not too much to discuss at the moment. I've also been holding back on playing the games until I can get 1.5/2.5, so yeah, haven't played any of them aside from DDD in a long time.
January 2, 201411 yr People need news to be excited . Right now ,I would call this a "dead season " for Kingdom Hearts .

I feel like the gaming industry as of today has become overly saturated with generic titles, that are all gritty and not to mention that the market has been taken over by FPS games... What happened to the good old days where games weren't treated as movies.. but as a whole new genre, where games had meaning and heart. I`m afraid those days are long gone.

Man, we think exactly alike! Most games made today are those that the majority likes, which are games with no message at all, sometimes there's not even a proper story. It's just shooting and killing. Have you ever played Suikoden or Arc the Lad? I love these two, alongside KH, of course!

But im gonna look it up But think to yourself... in the last 3 years.. think of a great game that is separate from an existing series, that isnt a shooter, and that is loved by gamers everywhere, that has a great story... that brought that great feeling that most games don`t bring today.

January 2, 201411 yr I think the general lessening of discussion is just more due to the fact that there hasn't been much NEW to the series recently. The last completely new KH title (DDD) was released over a year ago. All the other KH games are 1)being or have been rereleased in HD collections 2)on gaming consoles a generation (or two) removed 3)have been discussed for years and honestly, there isn't that much new content in the HD collections to spur much conversation about long after it's release. All there really is to discuss is speculating on KHIII. That's just what I think, in any event.
January 2, 201411 yr Yeah i love it still. There just isn't much to talk about that I haven't already talked about.
January 2, 201411 yr Fool. If anyone posts something that everyone knows already. The jerks on this site will swarm on them.
January 2, 201411 yr I think it's weird how I think the keyblade transforming into other stuff is really awesome and interesting and everyone just ignores it? That's just me though I think this site has been kinda slow lately actually But yeah, I still love it with a passion Edited January 2, 201411 yr by KittensOnFire
January 2, 201411 yr Just because my interests have expanded doesn't mean I don't still enjoy KH: I was literally reading the KH CoM manga yesterday, and played DDD some on Monday. There's just nothing new to talk about, and this site's become more social lately anyway. Not a bad thing, in my opinion.
January 2, 201411 yr Well... after loosing my 'Fat' PS3 and not being able to play Kingdom Hearts II anymore... I guess I'm just waiting for the 2.5 one.
January 2, 201411 yr I still care about it ALOT. Although I've already beaten all the games, I replay them to refresh my memory to see if I've forgotten any thing important that I'll need to know in Kingdom Hearts 3. Right now I'm playing Kingdom Hearts 1 from the HD Remix but, I've been busy with work and it stresses me out!
January 2, 201411 yr I care for Kingdom Hearts a lot. If you've played it through your child hood you would never let it go out of mind ...its my fave game since I was younger til now so yh I still care for Kingdom Hearts.
January 2, 201411 yr While the first KH is still my favorite game of all time, and I still enjoy most of the games in the series, the inclusion of BBS and DDD sort of dampened a lot of my enthusiasm, if only because it bookended the other games with what came before, and with where the series is going. I still hold out hope for KHIII, if only because of the potential aspect of the original team coming back to work on the game, which will likely result in a renaissance of everything I liked to begin with.
