How did Kairi get to Destiny Islands?

Posted

So I was randomly just thinking about KH, (like usual lol) and I remembered that it was said that Traverse Town is the world everyone gets transported to if they need refuge.

Leon, Yuffie and Aerith all got there because their world got destroyed, along with Sora and some more characters later on.

Shouldn't Kairi have gotten transported to TT as well when Radiant Garden fell to Darkness?

That leads me to think someone rescued Kairi and dropped her off there somehow.

Thoughts?

Riku ended up in Hollow Bastion, emergency rescuing isn't an exact science.

Good point, totally forgot about that

Gah, I feel like a noob. I posted this in the KH3 section when it should have gone into general KH. Sorry everyone, I'm new here. I promise it won't happen again

Master Aqua casted a magic spell on Kairi back on BBS that would make the light inside Kairi leads to another light when being in trouble. That's why she went to Destiny Islands instead of Traverse Town.

Because of the charm Aqua cast on Kairi.

I just cast a magic spell on you. One day when you're in trouble, the light within you will lead you to the light of another. Someone to keep you safe.

And it led her to Sora and Riku on the islands.

Thanks!

This but Apprentice Xehanort is the one that sent off of Radiant Garden. Aqua's spell guided her to Sora.

I think people are talking about 2 separate events here....

I think he is talking how kairi end ul in destiny island after the storm in the begin of kh1

You're talking how kairi end up when she was little.

Before Radiant Garden was destroyed, Xehanort (then calling himself Ansem) cast Kairi off into the Lanes Between, trying to see if she would be drawn to a Keyblade wielder, to see if there is any connection between the Keyblade and the Princesses of Heart. Now while Aqua's spell pretty much insured that Kairi would be brought to Sora, Destiny Islands still held one of the Keyblade's chosen (Riku...and Sora, technically), so in a way, Ansem's hypothesis was partially correct...though it wasn't all that transpired. After a while, Destiny Islands became where Kairi felt most at home, so any time she was taken away from home, that would be where she would end up returning if anything happened.

Because Xehanort. That Is all you need to know.(Watch this actually come true and he really does have a big part In this).

You guys....

This basically.

She showed up on the island in a meteor shower

I first believed that it was Ansem the Wise who left her there, but then someone on the web told be that it was confirmed Xehanort did it. I'm not sure which "version" of him did so, but I suppose it would make sense considering her memory was  gone when she was found. Erasing an innocent child's memory has Baldy's fingerprints  written all over it!

I refer back to my previous statement. :P
