I'm seeing that a lot on the internet so I'm bringing it here. SE Japan did a survey asking fans about Final Fantasy XV. The 47th question asked if P5 & FFXV came out at the same time, which would you get. Personally (lol) I would get Persona 5 because I'm more into that series than Final Fantasy. Also, realizing this now, that survey might affect when Final Fantasy XV is release and either delay or push up the release date next year.

Persona 5, no doubt. I'm more invested in the Persona series than Final Fantasy. Only played FFIX and FFX, but I've played all the main Persona games (minus P2: Eternal Punishment). Plus I just feel like Atlus are going to really deliver an amazing experience with this game. It seems like they're really taking their time and handling it carefully to ensure they release a great game. 

I would get them both really close to each other, but if I have to pick, I'd go with Persona 5.I'm excited for FFXV, but between the awkward development cycle and the weird information reveals, it's kinda left a sour taste in my mouth. I'm still getting it, but it's more just to distract me until KH3.Persona 5 on the other hand, is REALLY something I want to experience. Not play, but EXPERIENCE. It has a great style, and it seems very confident in itself. Yes, it has been delayed a few times, but that's better than FFXV, which just seemed to always be in a state of "in development". I understand why, but still...Persona 5 all the way!!!

I mean I would get both of them but if I would have to pick only one I would have to say Persona 5, I mean I am really excited for both of these games but Persona 5 I know I will not be disappointed with, not saying that Final Fantasy XV will be disappointing it's just that the development for that game has been more disappointing then Persona 5 and we got a demo for XV I'm excited for both but really Persona 5 is gonna be my game of the year number 1 game of 2016, but I don't think they will release around the same time but if they do I'm still gonna buy them both at the same time, really excited to see what the special edition for Persona 5 is gonna be, hoping they have one.

Neither, because I have zero interest in both of those games. I'm all set with console RPGs for a long time now, anyway. The big one I looked forward to already came out.

XV Persona just doesn't grab my interest.

Never played a Persona game so XV would be my choice.

I would pick up both, but if I was held at gunpoint I would definitely say XV. While Persona 5 looks great, it doesn't have the development backstory that XV does. I am far more curious to see what XV will deliver after all these years.

Never played a Persona game but Persona 5 looks awesome and i've only heard good things about the series, i'm also gonna get a PS vita soon just to play Persona 4 Golden (and my PS1 games i bought on my PS3)

My interest in FFXV has waned since they changed from PS3 to PS4, and the game play doesn't sound as interesting as I thought it would be when I first heard about it.

 

Persona 5, on the other hand, would probably have to kill people that play it to prevent me from getting it day one.

Also, I'm not that interested in FF in general. The only real reason FFXV caught my interest at all was because the battle system looked like it was going to be like KH.

I've virtually no interest in Persona, so I suppose Final Fantasy by default.

I'm quite pleased with the outcome of this topic, FFXV was Announced 2013 and showed off enough to assume it would be ready the next year, however that didn't happen and since then i've wained on the hype but Persona 5 was announced the same time and had little to show but held a lot of interest due to info. and with info by 2014, it blew out in presentation in 2015 and opened the information doors

well FFXV and P5 were announced the same year.and how's P5 a reskin of P4? they have different gameplay, different engine, it's more open world than P4. you can literally put two videos of P5 & P4 side-by-side and see that it's different.Dante's Inferno is a reskin of God of War

Final Fantasy XV; literally the closest i can get to a new Kingdom Hearts title on console.

I mean Persona 5 is coming out during the summer, which is absolutely perfect, so i don't know...

I would get Persona.

Persona is one of my fav series and one of the ONLY turn-based RPGs I'll ever play. However, while I don't usually give a shit about Final Fantasy, the development cycle would allow me to favor it more plus that KH on steroids gameplay it has like mmmm baby. Loved the Episode Dusk Kay or whatever it was called thing so I know I'd like the full game as well, especially driving around in that mfing car

I had Persona 3 FES and enjoyed it on my PS2. I might as well pick up Persona 5 at the same time as FFXV, because they're both games I'm very excited for!

Well, this will probably only be for the Japan release. Though assuming that this happens here in the states, probably P5. I only have the money for one of the two, and I am a much bigger fan of Shin Megami Tensei than Final Fantasy.
