I only cried once in Kingdom Hearts, and that was when Goofy "died" in KH2. I really thought he's dead when I first saw this scene.

Days is still the saddest KH game though, in my opinion.

Birth by Sleep! I know 358 had Xion's death and all that, but Birth By Sleep just had the most heartbreaking moments, especially towards the end. Ven asking his friends to put an end to him, Terra helping kill Eraqus who's practically his father, Terra losing his body, Ven's heart being shattered, Aqua having to fight Terra, Aqua falling into the Realm of Darkness to save Terra (and that line, "Ven, I'm sorry... I might not make it back as soon as I thought. But I promise I'll be there, one day, to wake you up.") Terra and Ven's keyblades coming into the Realm of Darkness to save her, etc etc. So much sadness. Ugh.

The only time a video game made me cry was my first playthrough of Days. Yeah, BBS was a pretty big downer, and KH II's ending could make you cry from happiness, but Xion's death was seriously brutal for my first playthrough. It's still sad to watch now.

I don't cry during games (or movies, or anything), but hearing Dearly Beloved at the end of Days made me come very close.

Can't say any of them made me cry per se. But the Kingdom Hearts was the most emotional for me. It was the most realistic in terms of storytelling, and did the best job of evoking the emotions where they were needed. To this day the scene before Riku-Ansem's fight and Sora's sacrifice are some of my favorite cutscenes in the series.

None.

Didnt really cry, but that last scene in KH2, where Sora and Riku meet the others at Destiny Island.... always touches me. It just has something to it like "I did it iam so happy" and it just transfers that so good to me. Also the soundtrack elevates it to a whole new level. Its these moments that make Kingdom Hearts special to me.

I kinda expected people to choose Days, but I really thought I was forced to like Xion and I didnt like that. A tragedy doesnt make a good character for me.

i haven't really felt emotional toward this series, yet. I say yet because i don't know what the future holds. Mostly because I will never feel sad after a boss fight or an epic moment (which is when most of the emotional stuff kicks), because i tend to get too hyped up or serious to feel anything besides joy when it's over. Although there plenty of tender moments that make me smile.

While there are quite a few sad parts in Kingdom Hearts, I've never cried once while playing them. I'm just the type of person who won't cry to video games, movies, etc.

I almost cried in Days when Xion died until Roxas said the ice cream line and the tears didn't fall. Other than that, I never cried in other Kingdom Hearts games or basically anything else unless if it's Metal Gear Solid 4 or Pandora Hearts.

I've never cried in any of them I don't think (I don't remember either) but I did tear up a lot during the scene when Axel and Roxas saying goodbye in KH2FM.

The first Kingdom Hearts, Birth By Sleep, 365/2 Days and Chain Of Memories all gave me feels

I think there were only two parts of the series that made me cry... It wasn't when Xion died. I actually spoiled that for myself, unfortunately.

Buuut... I think I cried during the KH2 reunion scene, and the part in Birth By Sleep where Aqua is in the Realm of Darkness. When she has a kind of "flashback" showing everyone she's met.

I never cried in videogames except for Skylanders: Superchargers poor Glumshanks :  _  ;

Wait, I think i did get "the feels", but I did not cry. I think it was a cutscene in Birth by Sleep... not exactly the ending. I think it was one of Ven's Flashbacks...

"Xion..."

Were the Kingdom Hearts games intended not to have happy endings? Kingdom Hearts. More like "Broken Hearts".

Haven't cried yet, but Days got the closest with me somewhat choking up at Xion's death. Yes, even with the ice cream line.

Well, in my honest opinion, while Days was greatly tragic, and it had a lot of tearjerking moments, to me, the game in the series that made me cry the most was Birth By Sleep!  Terra, Ventus and Aqua's tale is a very tragic one, steeped in despair and sorrow!  What started as a Mark Of Mastery test ended in a trial by fire for our three heroes!  Terra struggled with his darkness, Ventus struggled with his sense of self and his place in the world, and Aqua suffered from the split, the fissure that was created when she was named Keyblade Master!

Eraqus's death was brutal, and I got goosebumps when Terra attempted to hold him in his arms, but he just faded away into light!  That gets me every time!  And well, each character's end was a very tragic one!  Terra lost his body, only remaining an empty suit of armor, doomed to darkness!  Ventus destroyed his darkness, but in the process, destroyed himself, and now, he's in a coma!  And Aqua, in an attempt to save Terra, found herself plunged into the Kingdom Hearts Universe's version of hell...The Realm Of Darkness!  And there she's been wandering for years upon years...having to relive her memories, the hallucinations probably driving the poor girl insane!

Yeah...Birth By Sleep is definitely the saddest game for me! X_X

Of course, almost the entire KH series is grim, except KHII!  That game actually had a sort of happy ending, but all the others have ended sadly, and I've loved that! I mean, happy endings are so cliche, sad, tragic endings evoke more emotion and surprises!  So I'm glad Nomura's done the games as he has done them! :D

To be honest......none

The closest I came to shedding a tear is with KH 1 in two instances:1\ When Sora stabbed himself to free the princesses of hearts and 2\The separation scene in the ending.That's it

While sure the series does have it's share of endearing moments,it still doesn't have something that I can compare to stuff like Celes's suicide attempt in Final Fantasy 6 or Zack's Death in Crisis Core FFVII,Aerith's death in FFVII or the ending of Persona 3 heck Nanako's fake "death" in Persona 4 made me feel more sad compared to Xion's death in which it was hard for me to give a shit

I CRIED DURING RE:CODED OKAY I'M SO OFFENDED AND TRIGGERED THAT IT ISN'T AN OPTION. IT'S STILL A KH GAME TOO YOU KNOW. CODEDIST!

But in all seriousness, none. I don't cry over games or stories in general. But it is very emotional for sure.

Peace!

I always thought Xion's death wasn't sad enough when 358/2 Days was out for the DS. However, when 1.5 HD released with a full movie on 358/2 Days, it really gave Xion's story more visible structure and I felt more sorry for her. The more and more the days passed in the Hd movie, the more saddened I got. And on top of that, the scenes where the Org bullies her and then Roxas savagely lashes out at them, including Axel, holy shit. The feels man. ;_;

There's nothing more evil than making you spend a lot of time getting attached to a character only to tear them away from you toward the end...stupid Marley and Me. TT3TT"" <3
