we won't know what is said here until october, but depending on the investors feedback they could decide to release some things, shouldnt expect kh4 this year tho

i think ff7 is eating a lot of ressources, so by finishing it everything else is gonna go faster

Everything was riding on this remake project

Looking at the way they've done buisness, they were really expecting 7 to carry them basically this whole gen

They honestly should have gone full steam with ff7 like a sequel to doc with that secret ending and a remake of acc in video games format while doing the remake trilogy thats technically yes a sequel to acc but you know what I mean? Make it go full circle moment ?

quite frankly idk what they could have done seeing as how they were so gun-ho on this project

If they wanted ff7 to carry them the entire ps4 and ps5 gen

Like, I firmly believe they could have done this remake in 2 parts if they just cut out all the Midgar filler

Yeah but like they set up a genesis return in doc and a genesis vs cloud conflict or something which I wanted to see had they decide to do that first then remake later in 2 parts like you said

Like they ended DOC with that cliffhanger in 2007 and just did nothing with it for a decade +. Then they reboot the franchise like

How tf can u reboot a franchise that never finished its story??

(Well technically it did since everything after the original game was incendiary but still)

I hate how they ignored they set that up and left it hanging and didnt even hint to it in the 2nd game in the remake universe
