one thing I really want from this event is disney announcing that KH4 will have french and german dub again

it's pretty much an official announcement that KH will be at D23

Its not the first time Square has done bizarre stuff, so it wouldn't surprise me

I think we might absolutely get something at the end for 4

my guess is 20 minute talk about the franchise 10 minutes Sora 4 Fortnite 10 minutes some misc bs like merch or a tv show 10 minutes kh4 10 minutes with other random bs

imagine if they drop live action remake worlds... 💀

I was looking at the event- it might just be a retro- it's on the Backlot Stage, which is a big enough room; 'bout 12 hundred people can fit in there, but its not one of their main big stages

For reference when they dropped the Toy Story trailer in 2017 the room it was in was like, 3 times the size maybe at least? They could still totally do something big there though I'm not ruling it out

most likely just a little history of kh things considering they are saying celebrate the 25th anni

The only two live-action remake worlds I'd honestly be okay with are Maleficent or Alice in Wonderland- but only if they make it clear it's not the same continuity as Enchanted Dominion and Wonderland. There is potential for something interesting for those two without being overly redundant to the animated movies.

Like classic Maleficent appears in the Moors (or whatever that world would be called), dunking on Jolie!Maleficent for coming to actually care about Aurora and say "You're a disgrace to the forces of Evil", while Sora is just conflicted on whether to help Jolie!Maleficent because- even though this isn't the same woman- she still reminds him of the villainess that groomed his best friend into falling into the side of Darkness before Ansem pushed him over the edge.

Yeah; but if Disney insists on the live action remakes still... these two are the only ones I can feasibly see working.
