Kingdom Hearts reference spotted within Final Fantasy XV

Square Enix has recently chosen to pay homage to the Kingdom Hearts series in an interesting and humorous way. Within Final Fantasy XV, your party will come across many locked doors, and each character will typically have a few remarks about the situation. One of these exchanges is a reference to the Keyblade and its unique abilities. A video clip (courtesy of YouTube user Jaxtaroo) and a transcript of the conversation can be seen below. For those concerned about spoilers, the clip only includes the conversation, so there aren't any important story or gameplay details to skip through. We have, however, decided to put these pieces of information behind spoiler tags nonetheless.

Transcript:

*Noctis tries to open the door, and the player is met with a dialog box, which reads "The door is locked"*

Noctis: No dice, won't budge.

Ignis: For every lock, there exists a key.

Prompto: Or like a magical key that can unlock any door -- like from the video games!

Gladiolus: Or that.

I still need to grab a copy actually,

Is the story worth it after all?

I blew a bunch of money already on the Skyrim remaster and Moon

it's worth the money.

You people are messed up, you know? Here I am, wanting to play Final Fantasy XV, without fear of anything that would catch my attention, when you decide to post the reveal of a Kingdom Hearts Easter Egg within the game! Really? This is something the player should discover for themselves, not be spoiled like this! It takes out the psyche factor for when the Easter Egg is found!

...Yeah, like I'm one to talk! I tried resisting the urge to watch this clip, but I ended up watching it anyway! So yeah...thank God there was no vital spoiler for FFXV itself!

But dang, that was one awesome Kingdom Hearts reference! It made me smile like heck! Kingdom Hearts, my friends, Kingdom Hearts is everywhere!!!! :')

I laughed a bit hearing the reference. I wonder if they have played Kingdom Hearts.
