So I watched Monster Musume and that was awful and then I watched Rosario X Vampire which was also awful so let's hope Soul Eater can redeem my view of anime

Shulk repliedThe anime follows the manga for the first 10 or so volumes. It splits off partly at there. Volumes 11-14 are kind of represented in the anime, although the manga has a lot more details and events that weren't in the anime. The anime ends off around that point, while the manga goes on until Volume 25. It's kind of tough to give exact details without spoiling anything, but the manga has a lot more to it. The anime's still enjoyable, although I personally prefer the manga.

Shulk repliedThe SNES version is also available on the Wii Virtual Console, if you have a Wii. Not on Wii U yet, sadly. The DS version has the most content, though it did change the translation, which kind of sucks. I heard it got rid of Frog's... accent? I'm not sure what to call it right now, but he used to do the old "-eths" and "thee" kind of speech. That's gone in the DS version from what I've heard.

I can deal with long loading times. (I don't like it when they change a character in a remake, unless it's for the better!)

@Riki Frog and Ayla were the only ones who had historically accurate accents from my memory, at least in terms of important characters. Did they really get rid of Ayla's cavegirl speech?
@Nort Yep. Toriyama did all the character designs, so he was the only one who could animate the cutscenes.
