    I'm playing through Xenoblade again, using the 3DS version this time. That scene at the end of the Colony 9 segment still hit hard...

    That muppet part of the direct was pretty hilarious. My favorite part when muppet Reggie referenced the N64 lol. Too bad most of the direct sucked :/.

    @Tails I honestly liked the Direct. I feel like it would have been better if Nintendo had saved a few reveals made earlier in the week for it, but while it wasn't the best ever, I still thought it was a good Direct.

     

    @Nortanort I didn't expect it at all, either. It's pretty much what got me hooked on the game when I first played it. Also, it's definitely an awesome game. I've seen very few games which people are able to love so much just by watching it.

    The Direct was ok. It was by no means bad. But I just wish we didn't have to see those developer story segments. Those were kinda boring in my opinion. I did still enjoy the direct though.

    I do agree that the developer story segments could have been used differently. They were interesting and all, but didn't really fit in such a short Direct. If they'd devoted the time spent with those by showing trailers for other upcoming games that were shown afterwards, I think that the Direct would have been better. Those segments could have just been uploaded to Nintendo's Youtube page separately for those who wanted to view them.

    Yeah, Nintendo should have done that. Also, I find it funny how many dislikes that Animal Crossing Mario Party rip-off game got lol. Though I can't blame the fans since they were expecting a main titled game.

    I was a bit disappointed about the Amiibo Festival game, although I don't think it's quite as bad as people are making it out to be. I'll probably try it out if it really is a free downloadable game like some rumors are saying. I do want the Animal Crossing amiibo, though. Especially K.K. Slider's amiibo.

    I feel like the only person on the planet with no amiibo. I haven't bought any due to lack of interest. Maybe I should buy a few.

    I know a few people who don't have any. There aren't too many fellow collectors I know, probably helps that a lot of them are impossible to get. xD

    Well, the only amiibo's I am interested in is the Splatoon ones, Peach, Palutena, and Sonic since they are one of my mains in Smash bros Wii U. Also speaking of Smash, I'm surprised there aren't a lot of Palutena users in the matches lol. I fel lie the only one that mains her really well.

    I was originally just going to get my mains. I've got all of my mains now (Aside from Lucas, of course), but I've gotten a lot of others along with them. xD Also, yeah, Palutena doesn't seem to be a very popular character. I haven't seen or heard of many people who use her.

    Yeah, I find it weird because I'm extremely good with Palutena. I really like her moveset. Honestly, she can be a really good character once you've learned how to use her well. If you ever face me in a match, you will see just how badass my Palutena is xD.

     

    Also do you plan to buy every amiibo?

    I like Palutena, but I don't like her base special attacks much. I feel that having a reflect and a counter is a bit repetitive, honestly. I like having more attack options.

     

    I was thinking about trying to get all of the Smash ones, but I've pretty much decided against it now. The stock issues are getting too annoying at this point. I'll get all of the characters that I like, and any rare ones that I somehow stumble upon, but that's pretty much going to be it. I'...

    I'll probably try to get all of the Super Mario ones though, since with the exception of Gold Mario, they're all pretty easy to find. I also have all three of the Splatoon ones.

    Lucky! I want the Splatoon amiibos just because I;m super addicted to the game. And wow, maybe that's why not much people use Palutena. Is she considered a "technical" character in Smash like Peach?

    I've heard that the boy and girl Inklings aren't too difficult to find in some stores. The Squid's tougher to find since it's only in bundles outside Japan, though. :/

     

    As for Palutena, I'm honestly not sure. I'm not really into competitive play, to be honest.

    I've done more For Glory, although I honestly don't play online often. I'm just not into a lot of the competitive techniques and such. I like serious matches, but the competitive scene isn't really for me.

    It took me five hours to get to that point in this playthrough... I got caught up with sidequests. xD It was such a surprise my first time playing... ;_;

    I am just thankful the one new movie I wanted made it in first! I always wanted Tangled in KH after I saw the movie for the first time. And now maybe Mandy Moore will come back to KH and voice Rapunzel, which would still be kind of weird because of KH1!

    Why do I have bad feeling that there is going to be a major twist in Kh3. BC if their planning on making more...... like the battle between light and darkness could go either way

    They are. Square already said KH3 will not be the last game in the franchise.

    I just don't want KH to turn into a Final Fansty Game where it's like 13 games and most of them don't even correlate

    I think in KH4 it should start a new saga for Sora unconnected to the Xehanort saga.

    I don't want it to be FF style either, but I also don't want it to be one continous story. It should be like DBZ where each arc or saga takes place after the last one with the same main character but an entirely new villain. Each saga should also not re-use worlds from the last one.

    Stuck between playing Shadow of the Colossus or Xenoblade Chronicles next. Shadow is the shorter game but I'm really in the mood for Xenoblade. However that's a very long game and I hate leaving games unfinished so I'd have to beat it before heading back to college, so I'd have like two month.

    Yeah, it doesn't take too long if you're focused on it. xD I think my final playtime on my first playthrough was around 70-80 hours, and that was with minimal sidequest completion. The main reason it would take a long time is if you try to complete all sidequests, since there are around 500 of those. That's best saved for a second playthrough.
