Adventure 02 is my favorite season in the series, and Exveemon is how I got a username in the first place.
catmaster0116 repliedWell, I guess it really depends on when this arc of Digimon takes place. If it takes place between Adventure 01 and 02, then chances of the Adventure 02 party appearing are slim. But if it takes place after adventure 02, I'm sure they'll be mentioned even if they don't appear.
WakingDawn96 repliedWell this season is supposed to be after 02, which makes me wonder about my favorite characters. I just don't know how I would react if Veemon turns into an unimportant / forgotten character, cause he inspired my name for the whole time I've been using social media.
Also, it's too bad I will never be able to watch this unless it comes to the USA, because I don't speak Japanese and I don't have time anymore to watch something with subtitles.

I knew it took place after Adventure 01 but I didn't know its what its relationship with Adventure 02 was.I'm sorry to hear that @WalkingDawn96, I'm sure it'll make it to US shores since it is a major entry into the Digimon Franchise and every other Digimon series has been dubbed so far. Just sit tight and wait, but if you can't just make time and spoil yourself with the subbed version or raws
WakingDawn96 repliedBit., it doesn't for me. I am not the greatest reader and am very slow at it. So I usually have to pause the show and then read it and then play only to pause and read again. I am not the best reader and that is why I have to take my time with it.
catmaster0116 replied@Bit: Yup thats right, but some people have a preference for the English Dubs, and others will tend to enjoy the Japanese Audio and Subs. Sometimes people can't be bothered to read the english subs, so they would rather the english dub instead.

Either way Digimon is a completely different show in Japanese. Adventure 02 displays this perfectly. Its the embodiment of why I hate the dub for Digimon and seems to be the embodiment of why you love Digimon, am I correct? So im not sure if it would have worked out anyway
catmaster0116 repliedActually the reason why I watch the Japanese version mainly more was for the music (The Opening & Ending themes), I find that with the Dub versions the music sounds like it was put together hastily and some of the music in the dub can be quite repetitive.
I remember listening to 'Fire' (Frontier) and 'Butterfly' (Adventure 01) for the very first times and I really loved the artist/vocalist.

i think you're going to have to prepare for the possibility that the 02 cast (save TK and Kari) will have very minimal involvement in this. I've been keeping up on all the news and not a single mention of an of them has been made and the series will premier in May at the latest. catmaster0116 repliedLol, knowing Bandai - I am about 70% sure they will probably introduce a new digivice of some sort eventually to milk money from the fans since Bandai is the company that makes these expensive little gadgets/toys. They recently re-released the 01-adventure digivice in Japan but it was a preorder thing with limited numbers sold.

Isamu Kuno repliedI got lucky and found someone on ebay selling the Digivices in a set for $230 and someone else selling the Tag and Crests set for $85 each. When you figure that the Digivices where 9,990 yen ($100)and the Crests are 4,860 Yen ($80) these sellers aren't really making much of a profit on individual purchases.
