    Omg! I know, right?? I think the funniest one ever was ad they did some years back, when the guy in a rat costume jumped out of the wall, and attacked the man eating Doritos. It was so random, I just died. xD

    I'm going off the grid from the Zelda Fanbase. I cannot stand how obnoxious they can be compared to most other fanbases. Not once in my life have I seen the amount of rude remarks like the ones in the Zelda fanbase. Until we get a better fanbase, where people are more open to new ideas, even after mistakes were made in the past. I cannot stand people who call others idiots for being open to ideas like gender options or just being able to stick to the really nice looking outfit for Link in...

    Skyward Sword had an amazing story and characters, but it just didn't stand out well. At least it's liketen times betterthan Twilight Princess. TP is the bane of this fanbase...

    I typically just avoid associating myself with fanbases because of how horrible some can be. Naruto's a perfect example. I love the series, but it probably has one of the worst fanbases I've ever had to deal with. I've never really seen much of the Zelda fanbase, but I've heard a lot of horrible things about them. It's definitely best to just avoid the fans who are being complete jerks.

     

    Also, SS was good. Definitely better than TP. That's the only one I just...

    Yeah, pretty much. Except the whole fanbase is like that so you can't even affiliate yourself with them. It's pretty pathetic honestly.

    That's how I view the Naruto fanbase. :/ This is why KH13 is the only forum I really visit actively, this is the one place I've seen where the fanbase can actually be respectful. It's surprising how difficult it is to find decent people to talk to in fanbases.

    I haven't had it that bad yet. I've had some absolutely terrible experiences with fanbases, but I've never had that many go against me.

    Oh when you're as open to new ideas as I am in the Zelda fanbase, it's that bad.

    I agree that some new ideas and features would be fantastic in the Zelda series, like the gender options you mentioned before. It's probably just because I don't really interact with the fanbase that often that I don't have to deal with the criticism.

    How was the gameplay in Other M? I've kind of heard mixed reactions about it, so I'm considering trying it out for myself now that it's like $10. I can deal with a crap story since I play games for the gameplay anyway, I'm just curious about how it plays. ._.

    I've heard about the story complaints. They do sound stupid, but at the same time, I kind of feel like I want to play the game for myself since I've heard half of the fanbase say it's good, and half say it's bad.

    Yeah, I haven't heard many complaints gameplay-wise. I think I'm going to look into finding Other M after I've finished Prime Trilogy so I can see how it is. Considering how cheap it is these days, I feel like it wouldn't matter too much if I ended up not liking it.

    I'm used to the occasional stupid boss fight. xD As long as the gameplay in general is enjoyable, I don't mind that, unless the boss battle is horrible enough to ruin the game for me. That's really rare, though. ._.

    ive heard this whole PTSD discussion. I actually heard a defender of the PTSD thing give me an actual legitamet reason as to why she acted that way and why it isnt stupid, but while his explenation was valid, it was also farfetched. i tend to agree that samus' reaction was kinda stupid. i just wish other m was a spinoff game instead of part of the main series. then it would make a lot more sense.
