Final Fantasy IX is still my favorite Final Fantasy game. However, my friend was also hardcore FFIX but now says her favorite is XV. I guess I MUST play it.

Religion should not be involved with politics. Just because you can't do something doesn't mean other people can't.

KingdomHearts3 repliedThe act of homosexuality is a sin in my belief, but homosexuality as an orientation is not a sin. Of course an entire nation shouldn't be under one religion. You see, the US was founded on Christian principles. What is guaranteed in the Bill of Rights is example of that in action. Freedom of Religion is indeed part of that. It prohibits the gov't or any making a faith a state religion, but does not prohibit its expression.
KingdomHearts3 repliedPoliticians expressing their faiths are not bad people. The president said "we are not here to impose our way of life on others" in his address. It goes for anyone with their ideas whether they have a faith or don't. You must decide for yourself what to believe. To help, I suggest you pray for enlightenment.

I feel that people, including politicians, should not enforce their personal beliefs on a nation since there are so many faiths and cultures founding this country. Sure, politicians can have their own beliefs, but they shouldn't enforce them upon others. Especially if it's not hurting them or anyone else.

Again, it's one thing to have your own ideas, but my problem comes in when they are forced upon adults who can make their own choices.

Christians are taught to do that and those that don't are lacking and missing the point of the faith. Respect will lead to tolerance. Being a Christian and adhering to the faith includes not enforcing their faith on others. That isn't what they are taught and that isn't what they do nor are supposed to do. Please understand that acting out the faith in public does not mean the faith is enforced on others. Christians are taught to love their neighbor and respect others. They are also taught to adhere to their faith. You can act out your faith in public whether politician or not and not impose it on others.
