    Nah, you can get a permit at 15 and drive with an adult. It's better to get a permit when you're 15 because you get to have more experience and the moment you turn 16 you can test for a license. While if you wait to get a permit when you're 16 (you have to get a permit either way), you have to wait 6 months before being able to test.
