According to Nomura's message in KH 1.5, KH will be around for a couple decades to come. So that means THIS IS GONNA GET MILKED LIKE FF. Shit.

 

I was hoping that after this saga ends, there would be only 1 more saga which involves retrieving Kingdom Hearts and defeating the villain of this saga, and then that would be it. That way it wouldnt be milked TOO MUCH.

 

But no, if its gonna be around for a couple decades then that means there will be maybe 2 or 3 more sagas. My guess is that the series Is gonna get over milked like VII and end up becoming worse in the end. I hope that doesnt happen, but chances are that it will.

Kingdom Hearts was actually meant to be a Disney type story, but all of that changed up a bit to attract the Final Fantasy audience, so yes, this series was bound to get milked from the beginning.

I myself think Final Fantasy's storyline has been the same over the years, though FF 13 kinda dissapointed me.

But besides that, I think FF 15 looks really promising with the new combat system! It's real-time combat.

Some dislike it cause it's no longer turn-based, but things come and go.

 

Anyways, there will be a day where Kingdom Hearts games will be no longer made, or we just outgrow it.

But for now, we should take it as it comes

It was bound to happen. Also I wouldn't class FF as milking until the previous games, because they changed so much from older games, they were pretty much using the title "Final Fantasy" to help sell it. But even though FF is dead, I can't wait to play FFXV

There is a chance that he is saying that he aims to create a classic that people will still play and enjoy decades from now. Though I feel your interpretation is probably the right one.

 

Honestly I can't say milking will be good or bad yet, after all series that are milked can still have good games. (glares at Mario)

I like XIII. I was just saying VII got milked and it was bad when DOC came out.

I honestly think that KH has already been milked since the first game.

Nomura screwed everything up and the series were in danger loosing their logic, but gladly Nomura is smart enough and found a way to explain everything.

So no, I think the series will continue being awesome because now Nomura learned form his mistakes.

Haha, no no. 2045 is the year Kingdom Hearts 4 comes out.

This isn't much of a surprise. When Nomura said there was a gonna be another saga, it pretty much confirmed that KH is going to be around for a long time.

every good series has to be milked. and i can't help but smile at that. i'm not exactly glad that they're probably going to milk the series, but i'm not angry or disappointed either. sometimes when it comes to milking, it just gives the creators a good excuse or reason to make more games. and when it comes to kh so far, the more the better.

 

but sometimes milking can be bad. like take for example SONIC GENESIS. NO MATTER HOW MUCH I LOOK AT YOU YOU'RE STILL UNPLAYABLE.

I think I'll be long gone when KH finally finishes. I'm just glad to make it to 100.

I can't imagine how long they are going to keep the game alive.

I don't care as long as Xehanort saga stays untouched. But hopefully they'll not spoil the series.

KH2.5 should hold us for decades to come if it comes out in 2014
