November 11, 201311 yr Sad isn't it? I'm spoiled very little, if my video games get taken away from me I'm fine cause I can draw and just imagine stuff up. But it seems like kids can't live without video games these day's, even my brother can't live without it for two days...

November 11, 201311 yr Besides.....who the **** buy GTA 5 to a 9 year old kid??? You would be surprised
November 11, 201311 yr Popular Post I really don't like this picture. If my house was demolished, I would react the same way the Palestinian kid would. In fact, I would imagine many American's would freak out if their home was destroyed. Spoiled people aren't just in America; they can be found anywhere. This picture might just be as ignorant as the message it's trying to convey.
November 11, 201311 yr I feel like this picture is more about shaming and showing the US in a negative light considering we don't have to worry about feuds between cultural groups. I mean, sure, crying because someone took your game is as "#firstworldproblems" as it can be (along with, ya know, letting a kid play something like GTA), but I'm sure the Palestinian boy would wish that that was all that he had to worry about.
November 11, 201311 yr It's more like First World VS Third World. I know plenty of spoilt brats here in UK/Ireland and know they're not the only one. It comes down to parenting, not origin that really creates spoilt kids.
November 11, 201311 yr Besides.....who the **** buy GTA 5 to a 9 year old kid??? Yeah, that's the real problem here. Let the nine year old little kid play a game that involves prostitution, murder, torture and loads of curse words. That's good parenting.
November 11, 201311 yr and once again people are stereotyping Americans. I have you know if I pulled that sh*t my parents would have given me something to cry about.
November 11, 201311 yr I know. I said USA because the picture said USA. Or at least American. I love writing and drawing! Ya same here, they're both my hobbies
November 11, 201311 yr Now, if the caption was "Kid crying because someone took away his Kingdom Hearts game," I wonder if the hilarity would still be the same.
November 11, 201311 yr Stereotypical Anti-American picture. Bleh. I acted the same when my stuff was taken away. Because, at a young age, you don't realize or even think anything is worse. Kids overreact to the littlest things. It has nothing to do with country, race, ethnicity, etc.

I agree, spoiled brats exist everywhere, unfortunately. We tend to show more spoiled brats from our country on TV than we do with other countries as we tend to romanticize those other countries. Yet at the same time we tend to romanticize other aspects of our own country while demonizing other particular countries. It's all a part of this confusing and conflicting system about how we are fed to think about other countries as well as our own, so that political and corporate decisions may sway us even more easily than before....... ...Or I could just be over thinking this. Who knows?
November 13, 201311 yr I grew up not very spoiled. In fact, my life was strict so if anything rarely spoiled. I have seen very spoiled children, and sadly think that it will just get more worse and worse. I know one that does whatever he or she does and only gets a "Don't let it happen again". But if I were to do that when growing up, well let's say the results I got were (or would have been) very different. This is not meant to offend anyone but to share.
November 13, 201311 yr I didn't get none of this stuff when I was 10. I didn't complain when things got taken away save for my computer, whichis basically my social life because I don't like meeting people IRL. I use to want things, but now I don't because I'm realitively pleased with my life as it is right now. I hate it when people generalize others...
November 13, 201311 yr So growing up in a country with that level of unemployment and recession is spoilt?
