Don't expect a relationship resolution: Kingdom hearts is a franchise, and because of this they will want to keep the series going as long as they can keep squeezing money out of it. Tetsuya Nomura even said this was going to be the resolution of the Xehanort saga and not the end of Kingdom hearts itself. So they are going to need to hold off some things from getting resolved to release in later games. As such I don't think that any of the main cast will be going beyond anything other then really good friends. Am I right or wrong?

Er...I see I forgot to mention I was a Soriku shipper... I'm not sure how unrequited it is given what I've seen from KH2 and DDD

They don't kiss, I stop playing. Simple as that. They can have a real relationship and still continue the series. Kairi becoming Sora's girlfriend is not a indicator of the end of the series, They could be dating all throughout the next saga, it won't change things all that much.

 

Then they can work on Riku getting a girl.

They kissed in the kh1 manga, I don't see what's stopping them from doing it in the games.

Although I'm losing my patience with this couple, I can wait until they kiss. I mean at least in Kingdom Hearts 3 they can admit their feelings for each other and in the next game after that, they can kiss. Well, they did the whole drawing of them sharing the paopu fruit... That kinda had the same symbolism, at least from my perspective.
