Microsoft will give you 100$ store credit towards an Xbox One if you trade in a PS3

Really? Is this seriously how low we've stooped now? Like the title for the actual article says, they're essentially paying you to abandon Sony for them.

I would straight up punch the customer in the face and make him leave if he tried selling his ps3 for an xbone

*We will pay you for our competitor's products.*

Genius. And probably legal.

My Ps3 has Final Fantasy VII,so yeah,my middle finger is the only thing Microsoft will get from me

First them and Machinima bribing Youtubers to not say anything negative about the Xbox One and now this????

...... =,.,= Idiots.... It sounds so stupid but I guess its "business" to them....

Its like saying: "Hey pal! Want $100 store credits? Ditch the Playstation 3...."

Dah firetruck is this bs now? Microsoft GO HOME

I'll take that deal- but only if they give me an Xbone for free

...and if I can give them my old broken fat PS3

Wow. That is the only word I can use to express my feelings. Wow.

How the hell can they even get away with this? Is this even legal?

I wonder if Sony can sue them for this.

I wish they would understand that no one wants the firetrucking Kinect for xbox one get rid of that and you would get more sales

isn't it any console you can trade in not just a PS3? oh well

Xbox 360> PlayStation 3 in my opinion.

not sure about the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One . I will find out when I get them I guess ( but from the looks of thing, the PS4).

What... What the Donald Duck?

How... can they just put up a strategy like this? Seriously, if I were trying to promote my own videogame console, I wouldn't try to make anyone trade another console for it. When I make to my own console, I'll promote it by making good games for it instead of going "hey look, hey look, hey look!! This is a pentakillion times better than PlayStation and Xbox!" or "did you know the Xbox can cause brain collapse?" or anything aimed at difammating my competitors or putting more fire in the console wars.

Seriously, this kind of strategy seems aimed to hardcore "game consoles are religion and you can only pick one" fans, but even then, why would a Sonyist simply convert to Xboxism out of the blue?

In all seriousness, I'm not one to bash other consoles and the companies behind them (Even though I personally don't like Xboxes, I prefer staying far from console war crap), but this is really freaking pathetic on Microsoft's part. They must be really desperate to sell Xbox Ones, I guess that the sales for it weren't that great.

They hit a all time low. That's just firetrucked up.

"Let us "recycle" your ps3".

"recycle"

They're getting rid of perfectly good PS3's! There are people like me who need those. ;_;

How dare companies try to promote their products!

Lols. If someone goes over he will go right for the Xbox1.

Just crazy as hell.

You're oversimplifying the issue and you know it, Amon.

I wouldn't mind getting an Xbox One, but my PS3 is worth far more than $100. Even if I wanted to get rid of it, I could just sell it elsewhere and make at least something like $180.

That's bad marketing Microsoft is trying to pull. You don't see Nintendo doing that, and the Wii U is doing worse than the Xbox One currently.
