And I will say the same thing I always say when you bring up this goddamn topic again and fucking again.

If Square Enix had the desire to put Kingdom Hearts III on the Wii U, then Kingdom Hearts III would be on the Wii U. Whether they don't want to put it on the system because of hardware, sales, fanbase, or whatever, their reasons do not matter. What matters is this, KHIII isn't on the Wii U. If it were going to be on the Wii U, it would be. But since it isn't, that's your cue to shut the fuck up about it.

That's because you are, and it has nothing to do with your responses to us.

Tetsuya Nomura said it couldn't be. Nomura's game.

Alright, just because so many people are making fun of us not wanting to respond to the nay-sayers: It's not because we're avoiding debate. It's because we're sick of the other side providing no actual evidence aside from "PS4 has better graphics". Square Enix might be lazy, but they can easily change a game around to make it work. Look at the remake of Final Fantasy IV on DS, they completely redid the game.

I don't know why everybody keeps making these excuses about the controls

did you guys every hear about the Wii U pro controller?

can everybody please stop making excuses for Square- Enix ( they brought me Kingdom Hearts and I am grateful. But I am just calling it like I see it). This is the first time they go muiti- platform they should have known where their real fans are at. Their fans are on Sony and Nintendo platforms not on Microsoft platforms

And for the ones who can't think of anything but "get over it" knows SE messed up but don't want to admit it because they love Square -enix to much and feels like they can't do no wrong.

look I am one of the only fans who are buying KH on the Xbox one, So I know what I am talking about when I say there is almost ZERO I repeat ZERO interest of KH on Xbox one. All their fanbase  consist of is Action-adventure, Shooter, and Sports fans and that is it. it is barely going to sell on the Xbox one because most of their fans stop keeping track of the story around KH2.

Dude, it's their opinion, leave it alone. If they want to believe an opinion, even if some people think its wrong, that's there choice, let them deal with it.

This is a rant on the people who think it's downright impossible for the Wii U to have the game. I will not respond to any of you, because I feel like a broken record when that happens.

The main thing people are saying about the game is that the hardware is not good enough. Well, maybe its not as powerful as the PS4 or Xbox One are, but I guarantee you, the game could run. If Square Enix was really that concerned about hardware, They would have put ddd on the vita. If they were that concerned about hardware, Kingdom Hearts II would have been on the Xbox.

The only reason, THE ONLY REASON, Square Enix hasn't said anything about Kingdom Hearts III on the Wii U is because of sales. That's all it is. They knew more people would initially buy a PS4 or Xbox One, and The Wii U wasn't doing so hot then. Now that the Wii U has Smash Bros and Mario Kart coming out, and with the help of titles such as Super Mario 3d World, Bayonetta 2, And many more, Once the Wii U picks up in sales in 2014, Nomura will at least bring up the topic.

If you honest to god think that the main reason is because of weak hardware, look at this.

This game looks almost identical to Final Fantasy XV, one of the more "next-gen" games we've seen thus far. The Wii U isn't quite as powerful as the other next gen consoles, but It's close. It's a smilar gap to the Dreamcast and PS2. Even Developer Ubisoft has said That their games on the Wii U will look a lot better than the current gen. Nomura said all DirectX 11 compatible devices will be considered for Kingdom Hearts III. The Wii U has a Indie game titled "Candle" that's going to release that runs DirectX 11.

I guess that's all I have to say.

Is it downright impossible? Probably not, but the game isn't being designed for the Wii U from the ground up, it's being designed for X1 and PS4. To get it running on the Wii U would probably require reworking the game so it uses less RAM, likely less HDD space, and so that it fits onto a smaller disc size. Yes, multiple disc games are a thing, but it's an extra expense that Square would have to take into consideration. It's not about how the game looks, it's about how it uses the hardware during the gameplay.

You're correct in that this is about install bases, and right now the Wii U's is doing terribly for a system that had a year head start on its competition. Even if/when the system sales pick up for the titles you mentioned, the PS4 and X1 titles are going to pick up as well. What happens when Titanfall comes out? Or Destiny? Or the next Uncharted? And who is going to buy a Wii U for their multiplatform games, not when developers start getting their proper next-gen titles out on the other systems.

The Wii U is an excellent system for Nintendo games, but it lacks the spark of simplicity the Wii had, and it doesn't have parity with its competition in terms of specs. People are noticing differences in performance between X1 and PS4 games due to hardware differences. Imagine making a game for a system with 8gb of GDDR5 RAM, then being asked to port that to a system with 2gb of GDDR3. I'm not trying to bash the system in any way, but the hardware differences are worth considering alongside the audience sizes.

(Note: Nothing personal m8) We aren't making fun of you. And y'all are avoiding debate. And if you're sick of nay-sayers... nay-saying, think of how they're feeling (Exhibit A: RoxSox's post)

Also, concerning your example: That was a remake. Haven;t played it, but my guess is that they changed it in order to make improvements. This would be the same game. I guess it'd be alright if they slapped a re: in the title, but idk : /

However, I will admit that I completely forgot the Pro Controller. That would actually work as an alternate control scheme, like with Xenoblade and Brawl.

On this issue, I'm just gonna vote, "I don't know if they could or would do it, because the future lies beyond my sight."

RoxSox was being overly harsh with his reply in all honesty, he said some really offensive stuff. :/ Kid and I aren't cussing people out here, we're just stating our opinion. And we're avoiding debate because we're sick of the same exact response. In all honesty it feels like their side is just a bunch of Sony fanboys wanting to keep KH exclusive to their systems. I don't know if I speak for everyone who wants KHIII on Wii U, but it feels like the PS4/XBone people are shoving it down my throat that I can't see the sequel to my favorite game on my favorite next-gen console. Also, FFIVDS actually completely changed the engine, so SE could change the engine again if it was proven to be profitable. And there are plenty Nintendo fans who are missing out on KHIII because they don't have the $400 to throw down on a console just to play one game.

Also, the Pro controller would work, but I think the gamepad could work too. It's got the analog sticks and the ABXY buttons could work for the triangle, square, X, and O buttons. There might not be two shoulder buttons for each side, but they could find some way to make that translate to the touch screen in they need to. I'm not saying I know that SE will put KHIII on Wii U, I'm just saying that I'd really like to see it so I don't have to waste $400 on a PS4 that I'd only use for KHIII and one or two playthrough of FFXV.

I was referring to RoxSox because I was trying to say that both sides are sick of the other. But I will agree that he was a bit harsh.

And as for the negative side being "a bunch of Sony fanboys", that's a very broad generalization. You don't know if everyone is a Sony fanboy, and most likely, not everyone is one (Exhibit B: me).

If the TouchPad's touchscreen were to be used, that might give Wii U players an advantage or something extra (gameplay-wise) compared to the PS4/XB1 players, which wouldn't be fair.

I didn't mean to generalize them all, I just feel like that's where some of the other side of the argument comes from. The way I see it, those of us who want it on Wii U are just saying that we'd like that. We're not saying it will happen for sure. Those against us really have no reason to act so harshly towards us. A Wii U version of KHIII wouldn't hurt them at all. No Wii U KHIII hurts those of us who are going with Wii U this gen over PS4/XBone and don't have money.

Well here's a simple way to put it. It's possible, but won't happen.

Yeah, 'twould be nice...

But Cucco's ranting isn't really helping matters to be honest. Kinda asking for trouble.

its like a giant elephant in the room every single time I think of Kingdom hearts 3 like why is it going to Xbox one again?

it should have been. Kingdom Hearts 3= PS4 + Wii U

instead it is like. Kingdom Hearts 3= PS4 + Xbox one

does 2+2= fish?

I want justice,

Well there're people that don't want a PS4 and has a Xbox One. And the Wii U doesn't have nowhere as many consoles sold as PS4 and XB1 will have.

I personally agree, but there's two reasons why it panned out the way it has (so far):

-Install bases. The greater the number of systems sold, the great the chance your game will sell. Wii U hasn't got as much growth potential as X1 does at the moment.

-The system spec similarities between PS4 and X1 have made it much, much easier for developer's to make games multiplatform for each of them.

Also I'm glad that it's coming to the XB1 so I can have people that will talk positive for XB1 and games exclusive to the XB1 for a change. Also Trophies suck compared to Achievements.

Anta baka. You guys do know the only reason KH3 is even on the xbone is simply because how easy it is to port right? That's a cash grab. Porting to the Wii U would involve a lot of work making it compatible not only spec-wise but for the touchscreen as well, which let's face it would be too much work for so little reward. People who want it for the Wii U are a minority, albeit a vocal minority, but a minority nonetheless. I personally don't blame them for not wanting to do it, that's a lot of work and if they wanted to release it for all all at once it would delay the game even longer, which I think we can agree we've waited long enough, right? Who knows there's a slight, very slight possibility it might reach the Wii U 2 years after release since they've been doing that for a lot of PS3 games, but the Wii U is a dying system. I mean I don't think Nintendo consoles will ever die, especially their handhelds, but it seems their current home consoles will be at the bottom for a while, at least until smash comes up, but even then most people who are interested in smash have a Wii U already, and those who don't see it as baby's first fighting game. Personally I would prefer KH3 was a PS4 exclusive, but if the money from xdrones will support the future for Kingdom Hearts I approve, while it seems porting to the Wii U will cost more than it makes.

That game trailer looks nice. Thanks for the share.

1. Trophies are awesome.

2. Isn't it called "Gamerscore"?

I believe that the game would run on WiiU but it won't happen so it's pointless to argue about it. Square Enix has already made their decision. It's as simple as that.

personally, I just don't care for the Wii U. Oh and one more thing, is it true that each Wii U game costs 100$?

personally, I just don't care for the Wii U. Oh and one more thing, is it true that each Wii U game costs 100$?

In Australia they do...

1.The Wii U is not a dying system it just came out a year ago :| . like I think everybody labels the Wii U as a failure because the Wii  came in 1st last gen , and sony poines and xboners are butthurt by that fact and want Nintendo to fail.

2.I used to think that  porting it was a problem  until I came with realization with how much bull that is. For example take Dice for example, they ported Battlefield 3 and 4 ( a game series that started out and is meant to play on the PC) to the 360 and PS3, with no problem, the ports took the same amount of time to release too, and their is no major issue with the port to the 360 and PS3 ( a few issues with the Battlefield 4 port but nothing to serious like the Skyrim port to the PS3), this same thing goes for the ports of Assassin creed and call of duty which run fine on 7- 8 year old hardware ( PS3 and 360). can I ask a question to anybody who doubts me ok? Has anybody heard of any game that was ported to the Wii U that is a bad port? the only problem with the call of duty ghost port to the Wii U is that their is frame rate drops but that is with every port even the PS4 and Xbox one ports ( except for the PS3 port which is the only one that  keeps a good 60 frames per second without dropping). It is how you optimize the port, if Square- Enix wanted to they can EASILY PORT IT THE Wii U, but sales are making them scared which takes me to 3rd point

3.Now for the sales. Now we all known that the sales for the Wii U are really bad now due to its drought of games in between the launch and August(similar to what happen to the PS3).But KH3 is not going to come out for another 2+ years, by then the Wii U sales will be better due to the amount of games coming out between now and 2015 Square-Enix has time to make a port to the Wii U and they know it. They can even release the port a few months to 6 months later if it takes them that long (which I doubt it will). it will sell way more on The Wii U then it will on the Xbox one, which take me to my fourth point

4. Now for people saying that it is not worth porting to Wii U, I am going to sound like a broken record but, Sqaure-Enix have more KH fans on Nintendo platforms then Xbox platforms. Why would they not benefit from it. Every Wii U owner would want Kingdom Hearts 3 on their console, most Xbox one owners don't give a damn about Kingdom Hearts 3 on their console, in fact most of them don't even play KH anymore. It would be a MORE waste of time to port it to the Xbox one then to the Wii U

5. I know what you guys are thinking "stop asking for it your not going to get it" Well people are making this a big deal for the reasons I just mention. it would be like if Rockstar  would make GTA 6 for only the PS4 and Wii U. Fans of that series and Xbox Fans would be raging like I am right now. Also how do you know they will never port it, they have more then 2+ years till the game releases. a lot can happen in 2+ years. Now I stated 5 points of argument, hell I can turn these into a college paper if I wanted to destroy some more of your guys logic. But I already made my point 5 times over already so.

Flame on?
