I've noticed that many people here neglect all of the problems with the KH series and call it the holy grail of gaming. It's one of my favorite franchises, but I notice the problems that DDD,Re:coded, and a couple others have.

Hahahaha I'm the first one to admit there are retcons and bad writing sometimes bc Nomura writes this stuff by the seat of his pants .I just accept the flaws and enjoy the game anyways . It's not the end of the world - it's a freaking video game .But yeah there are some people who won't admit that .

It's a fan site, so yeah.

Nothing's as bad as comic book fans, though.

Yeah, I'll also admit, the series did have its flaws. For example, 358/2 Days. Despite the fact that I'll always love this game, even I can admit that the combat was simply way too simplified. Or (Re:) Coded's lack of a story until the near end of the game. So yeah, the fanboys/fangirls have no right to say that the series is perfect.

Kingdom Hearts is full of shitty writing but I still love it anyway

I notice every single gameplay flaw in the series, but I don't care about them. I still enjoy playing all of the games. 

Just because something has flaws doesn't make it unenjoyable. I notice the flaws, look at the past, and accept that things have to change when revelations(retcons) are made. For example,they say "Nobodies don't have hearts" but if you notice, ever since CoM Nobodies seem to have exhibited genuine fear or other signs of grief (in Larxene's case it was denial) upon their destruction, so I can accept that they may have begun growing hearts.

Well, this is a Kingdom Hearts fansite, I'm not sure what you would expect. Of course people are going to be fanboys/girls over the series.

I honestly haven't seen someone in all seriousness claim everything about Kingdom Hearts is the perfect holy grail of gaming with no flaws.  Talk to anyone here and they'll tell you something they didn't like, gameplay, story, the fanbase, what have you.  I would never actively encourage anyone to use Nomura's seat-of-your-pants approach to storytelling, but too late now; we need to accept what we're given.  Most of the rectons don't even bother me.  Hell, for a lot of fans, the Nobodies actually having hearts was something they already suspected... even though many of the ones who thought so were Organization XIII (yaoi) fangirls.  Make of it what you will that the yaoi fans were the ones who turned out to be right all along, but there ya go.  Accept it and move on.

I play games, read books and watch things for one simple reason: the story. But yeah; I acknowledge the flaws in the games as well.

This what I do with any game, and I get called out for blind fanboyism. I'm trying to accept the flaws and enjoy the game for what it is, so why can't I be left at peace for being accepting.

 

Well accepting there are flaws and enjoying it anyways is nobodies business but your own .I still love the game despite it all and if you do as well that's all that matters my friend . ( unless i misunderstood what you were saying . I just woke up. lol)

In all seriousness, I don't fanboy over anything Kingdom Hearts related. It's my second favorite game series, but it has it's problems (dat Re:CoM).

I'm a huge Kingdom Hearts fan and I already noticed the flaws in the games, but I still enjoy it! One of my main problems is in Dream Drop Distance, when they're explaining that nobodies can grow a heart after they split themselves from their hearts. Just how in the hell can a nobody grow a heart? Roxas having a heart makes sense, because he had Ventus's heart inside of him.

When I first discovered the KH series I thought it was awesome and got into it very quickly, then I discovered it had flaws, did I like it less? No. I acknowledged it had flaws just like anything else and some are quite ridiculous and it was very difficult for me to understand the story, you can thank Nomura for that, until I decided to look into it further and now I do...sort of. Definitely not as much as Flaming Lea but rather well.

 

I may fanboy at the KH series a little bit but that doesn't cloud my judgement of the series as a whole.

 

Besides, I have never seen anyone deny that the KH series has flaws ever. I mean, who could?

As with American's, you seem to be basing your opinion of an entire group based on a few prominent individuals.  I think most people notice there's flaws or wrong decisions but it's still an enjoyable passtime.

Xemnas explains this in game. The body will immediately try to replace what it's lost . Not every nobody regrows a heart bc certain conditions need to apply such as nurturing a budding heart with new memories and forming friendships and being around other hearts that can help this process along . That's why Xemnas tried to make the nobodies headquarters bland and didn't want other org members to come in contact with other humans with hearts who could help nurture a budding heart. It's also why they were always ordered to return from missions immediately to keep them away from other humans contact.

There's a difference between accepting the flaws and fanboying/girling. I understand that it has its flaws, but I love the good aspects of them, which is why I've enjoyed all of the games so far (Except for Chi). It's my favorite game series, but it's certainly not perfect.

Well I did notice the problems,it's just for me Birth by Sleep was the cause for 90% of it

 

Besides,at least we're not like most the Metal Gear fanbase

Oh and one other thing

 

Kefka can do Xehanort's job 10x times better than he did
