    I think the release date in December is stupid. they are releasing it next to 2 MUCH bigger titles in the same month. the 2.5 sales will be strongly effected by this and they lose more money.

    Two months away is not that bad for Kingdom Hearts,but I still believe that every games should be release everywhere in the same week.If other developers can do it,why can't they?

    On one hand I would like it sooner.  On the other hand I understand why they would sell it in December.  In the west December is an important holiday season.  It's the best time for the release and their sales will be stronger for it.

    Well I wouldn't mind if it was a month away instead of two but you know it could be much further away as well so there's that, hoping that this is a sign that the next Kingdom Hearts games will be closer between release date.

    The game probably started development Summer of 2013.

    Generally, I'd like it closer, but since my semester ends at the beginning of December, the date is perfect.

    Or maybe it's because Pokemon has been doing "worldwide" releases lately...

    They could do it sooner, but they don't want too. Square Enix do their release schedules oddly. It's not as big as a delay as 1.5 where it was completely done before E3.

    I don't think it releasing alongside other bigger titles is going to make them lose money. The people who want to buy 2.5 will buy it no matter what else comes out. And it's going to be available for awhile. People still buy Kh1.5 now, it just got "Greatest Hits" status. It will do fine no matter when it releases.
