What darkness? He hasn't had any "dark" moments since CoM, and even that was resolved really quickly. Dude's the happiest mofo in the whole series.

And no, it's probably NOT going to happen. For one thing, people would expect that. And as we all know, Kingdom Hearts is rarely ever predictable with it's twists. Plus, it'd be kind of cliche by this point, considering how we've already gone through two "fighting one's temptation towards the darkness" stories with Terra and Riku. With Sora it would just be very unfitting. AND we already had him fall to darkness in Dream Drop Distance, so really we've already gone as far down that route as we could go, so there's almost no point in perpetuating it.

 

Really, any conflict that Sora is going to face in KH3 will likely be related to something else, most likely the pain that he's supposed to face in order to save everybody.

Well to be fair, everyone has darkness in them...unless you're a Princess...or had it ripped out of you.

 

Sora fits neither one of those qualifications, so he has some darkness in him. But it's definitely not enough for him to be consumed by it. His transformation into a lowly Shadow was proof enough of that.

The whole not-giving-into-the-darkness-and-becoming-a-power-hungry-dick thing has been Sora's trademark from the start. Well, unless KH decides to be edgy. The day KH becomes edgy for edginess's sake is the day I go Welp, Nomura, it's been fun.

Heck no. He's too cheery to be giving up in the darkness. I can't see that. 

That's what I've been living to see.

After dealing with so many people who had given into darkness, and beating them with light, there's no way Sora will willingly give in. He's also way too happy-go-lucky.

Sora does have darkness in his heart, just very little . if he didn't have any he wouldn't have become a heartless and he does use Darkness when he's in Anti-Form ans when he uses the Shadow Breaker command in 3D. But I don't think he has enough for it to overcome him.

I don't think he would give into the darkness. HOWEVER, I think it'd be really cool (although I highly doubt it would happen) if the SoD's gave back Terra in exchange for Sora.

If anything, Sora would probably be willing to do it, knowing the kind of person he is, while the other guardians would try to dissuade him from doing it.

True, he'd reunite a long-lost trio if he had the chance. But (plot twist!) Xehanort is a cheater, so he'd probably just have Sora give in, then take both him and Terra.

It would be very interesting to see Sora fight against the Guardians momentarily, a kind of a "shortly the bad guy" kind of moment.  It would be pretty cool, because that way, Riku would have to knock Sora to his senses, just like Sora knocked Riku into his senses way back in KH1.  It'd be a reminiscent moment for them both! Plus, Sora does have darkness in his heart.  Granted, it's not an exaggerate amount, but the point is that he has it.  Just look at his Anti Form!  It's the residual of the darkness that still remains inside him!  But, Sora wouldn't give in to the darkness.  He would be forced, just like he was in KH3D.
