I have won multiple times, and lost a lot as well. It's all about how my mood is when racing Riku, my mood determines if I can focus or not and that impacts the outcome. But yeah, I got to name the ship different times before, but my favorite was when I named the ship SwanQueen in 1.5! Got to support the ship that is SwanQueen!

(If you don't know what Swan Queen is, look it up! It's Once Upon a Time related!)

I never beat him ever. But my Brother or my sister have beat Riku in the Destiny Island race.

Back when I was younger, I always thought you HAD to beat him. It usually took me like 10 tries to do so.

Yea once I learned that you can skip over the first part of the race with the wooden platforms by jumping down and running through the water I managed to beat him every time.

The race is easy. I have no clue how you could lose to him.

Back in the PS2, I remember almost beating Riku, but then he beat me at the last minute!  But, afterwards, I did beat him, including in 1.5! :D

I didn't beat him the first time playing through the original.  But I made sure to try winning the next 10 times or so.

Yeah I kind of rekt him multiple times. Destiny Islands was one of the best parts of KH1 for me so I spent a lot of time on there and did a lot of stuff like getting to level 25 before even leaving the island xD

When Sora failed to grab that rope glide and falls on his ass, I started cussing and restarted just to try it again.

I never play kingdom hearts when I was young.

No... He beat me.... :

First time I play the original game, I was so fired up when he pull that "The winner gets to share the papou fruit with Kairi" mess. But I lost...

Only tried once, and I missed the bar.

I think I only managed to beat him once. I blame it on the wonky camera.

I did win the race more then once, but I never beat him in that wooden sword fight(its like the hardest boss in the game lol)

Yes, I won and lost a couple of races my first few tries, haha.

I always do now! I always take special short cuts to beat him. (Don't worry I've beat him fair and square like twice xD)
