With E3 right around the corner I have noticed a trend. Square has announced and revealed almost every other thing they are doing, but they are dancing around KH3. So much teasing, so much insinuating, but at the end of the day, the only thing we really know for certain is that KH news will be at E3... For all we know they could pull the biggest dick moves and talk only about Unchained and a 3D remake because they have not specifically come forward and said KH3.

 

Honestly and not even speaking from a personal standpoint: if this is all just a clever troll to keep people interested in KH3 when they have nothing to show for it, it will not have the effect they hope. It will instead be met with a HUGGGGGGGGGGGGGE amount of backlash after all that teasing. It'll set the expectations for KH3 a lot higher, and may even bring it to the level where surpassing the hype becomes impossible.

It was already revealed in 2013 but I assume you're talking about the game being there in general this year.

 

If KH III is a no show this year, honestly I wouldn't be upset about it. I'm just keeping my expectations low in regards to it being at E3. If we get news about it that's great, but if not, oh well, maybe another time. That's the kind of mentality I'm keeping to prevent myself from getting upset if it doesn't end up being at E3. 

KH3 was already announced at E3 2013 so it won't be announced again.  But if you are talking about like an update on how the development is going we will probably hear something about it from a Square guy who is there but probably not that much.  We will probably not see anything of the game most likely but if we did it will probably be something similar to what we have seen in the past.  They will probably only talk about Unchained and possibly the 2015 Kingdom Hearts game if it is not Unchained which will probably be either a port to the PS4 and possibly  to the Xbox one or a Dream Drop Distance Remake.  E3 is just a few days away then we will know for sure

Actually Square has been beating around the bush. They never exactly said KH3 was going to get a release date or anything like that. Just that major KH news was coming. They have announced everything else under the sun but they have never specifically said KH3.

Honestly, If they once again do not talk about KH3 after hamming it up for this long and teasing so long, I would not be surprised if KH3 never gets finished. At this point Square is standing on a fine line of pissing their fans off to no end. If they spent all this time teasing KH info and only give us a remake and a smartphone game, I think it's safe to say that there will be a lot of backlash from fans. At this point KH3 has been in talks for so long, I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up as vaporware.

Honestly, Square has never pissed me off with their teases, they actually make me the opposite of pissed.

Something kingdom hearts 3 related may not be at e3 this year,but it's not a big deal since we are going to get news for kh3 in November. Maybe we will get something kingdom hearts series related at e3.

They shouldn't be mad. They technically never confirmed KH3 news, only their international pages have teased a little but that's all speculation.

Just learn to not have any expectations when it comes to these things so if anything you end up pleasantly surprised.

It doesn't matter because Kingdom Hearts 3 has been in development since 2013. Tetsuya Nomura is still doing the scenarios and I believe he and Disney are still picking which worlds they want in Kingdom Hearts 3. Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming closer than you think. Plus Tetsuya Nomura already said that there would "news and new announcements" about the game in November 2015 at the Japan D23 expo. It's all good.

I don't think many of us are expecting anything Kingdom Hearts III related at E3 in the first place. I wouldn't care anyway, since there's another RPG coming soon that I'm way more interested in, and the lack of KHIII news has made me more disinterested in the game than mad.

Haven't you learned yet? You don't expect anything. If news comes, great. If not, wait until the next possible convention. This happens every year yet people still do unnecessary speculation.

Of course it won't be announced at E3 it's already been announced. Honestly at this point I would kind of prefer a KH 3D HD announcement because they probably don't have much to show on Kingdom Hearts 3. Development started in 2010, but that was probably just pre-production work, scenarios, scripts, storyboards etc. The actual 3D modeling and coding probably didn't start until 2013. It's enough to know it's coming, KH3 is way to big to become vaporware unless Square actually goes out of business before finishing it. All I really want to see at this point is Sora and Riku's new outfits anyway. Do that and I'm good for a while, if not, NBD.

I really don't know what to say in regards to KHIII appearing or not appearing in E3.  I'm desperately hoping that we get something, even if it's a small teaser!  But, I can't have way too many high expectations either.  But hey, a guy can dream, right?  Anyways though, as long as we get KH related news, even if III is a no show, I'll be content.

Just learn to not have any expectations when it comes to these things so if anything you end up pleasantly surprised.

 

Or better yet, learn how to accept that it could not happen early on.

To be honest, I'd be way more excited about KH3 if I had a PS4/or if it was going to get a PC version. Right now, I can wait. I've got other games coming my way.

I really want KHIII news in E3. If they don't I will be pissed off for a while but the other KH news and all the other exciting announcements will make things a little better.

There's no way it won't be shown; Square Enix has their own press conference and they'd be stupid not to show one of their most anticipated titles at the biggest gaming event in the world. Its gonna be shown
