August 14, 201510 yr And you....must be firetrucking with me. Are they for real? Is that a thing? ....I agree with that Bear.
August 14, 201510 yr I agree with Morgan Freeman. The problem is we have a culture that encourages anti-social behavior. It's so easy to sit behind a keyboard and say whatever you want with no consequences and when that behavior carries over in to the real world the kid is always the victem as far as their parents are concerned.and no one develops a thick skin because everybody is a winner and you get a prize just for participating. Damn, when did I become an old man? Is 27 too young to be this cynical? Edited August 14, 201510 yr by Isamu_Kuno
August 14, 201510 yr Popular Post My little sister was playing Mortal Kombat X the other day, yet she still knew killing people was wrong. It's called common sense, people. Peace! Edited August 14, 201510 yr by Yuya Sakaki
August 14, 201510 yr And thus, more proof that Morgan Freeman is literally god. Also, I can hardly... bear that picture
August 14, 201510 yr No, I agree with the person that set up the box. Violent video games are absolutely the root of all evil. They have been around polluting the childrens' minds sense Ancient Mesopotamia, and we should purge the world of their existance. Only then shall we be truely free of the curse bestowed upon this world.
August 14, 201510 yr AMEN TO THAT! X3 (And this, KH13, is why Lea is so popular and brilliant. X3) No, I agree with the person that set up the box. Violent video games are absolutely the root of all evil. They have been around polluting the childrens' minds sense Ancient Mesopotamia, and we should purge the world of their existance. Only then shall we be truely free of the curse bestowed upon this world. I would comment...then I saw your Username. And title.
August 14, 201510 yr video games are just the scapegoat nowadays when something bad happens and the person involved just happened to have a video game in their possession at one point. pretty sure comic books and TV were at one point blamed for violent behavior but now that society has become more familiar and accepting of these forms of media they're harder to place the blame on. Video games are still finding their footing, making them easy targets to blame for the poor behavior of others. Edited August 14, 201510 yr by Headphone Jack
August 14, 201510 yr Sweet a box full of free video games *take the ones I want and sell the rest of them donates money to the library so I'm a scumbag but not so much as one* Edited August 14, 201510 yr by TheKingdomkid
August 14, 201510 yr Guns don't kill people, people kill people video games don't kill people, people kill people. In fact you know what we should surrender our guns cuz you know guns cause violence, or you know what alcohol yeah that really causes violences.
August 14, 201510 yr ...I seriously want to know where this library is just to understand what part of the country could be so stupid to actually think this is how people and the world works. >X(
August 14, 201510 yr Oh ffs, come on! I'm pretty sure Dylan Roof didn't decide to go on a killing spree because he was playing too much CoD! If kids dont know right from wrong then the only person to blame is their parents. And also, why buy your kid these games that are clearly labelled as 18+! If your kid's not 18 don't get it! Simple as, really. Maybe a video game or a movie could let people be influenced, but only if the inclination is already in their subconsciousness somewhere. I mean, I watched scream when I was 12 and i don't feel the need to dress up as ghostface and shank people! Rant over:P
August 14, 201510 yr Don't know about you folks, but I became quite the rambunctious teenager once I played Jak 2. Damn, crap, ass, and GUUUUUUNS, man, if it wasn't for that game I wouldn't be the rough, tough, violent person I am today.
August 14, 201510 yr I think most of you are overestimating a child's mind. While I obviously agree with Lea, violence will often, if not always, bring to more violence. It doesn't matter where violence come from but children are really easily influenced by everything they see or listen. They tend to imitate them. Of course, media and such tend to inflate the problem but that's what they do with everything.
August 14, 201510 yr Every person is responsible for his own acts. Nobody else, and definitely not a video game. You have to choose your own path in life.

Some children are more easily influenced than others, also games like CoD and GTA have ratings for a reason, like I said before why are parents complaining if they're the ones who let their kids play in the first place?
August 14, 201510 yr Seriously? Are some people this ignorant? Let's remind these people that most of the problems in the world have nothing to do with videogames. Some were present before video-games were made.
