Gonna go with one to two hours.

2-3 hours

As much as I wish it could be a full fledged game, it is too unrealistic considering everything else they have been working on.  I would say between the 4-10 hour mark sounds reasonable since this is labeled as a new KH title and not simply called a demo of sorts.  Not to mention that V2 was likely going to be a fully fledged game when first thought of, so there is still probably a decent amount of content left over from the original idea to make it a reasonable length.

Well each of the Characters of BBS only really take 10 hours to beat (roughly) I don't see why making a solo 10 hour episode for Master Aqua would be too far out of the realm of possibility

people are just worried that it's going to be like a demo.

It better be a decent length considering Chi looks like pure cutscenes. How else could you justify a

$60 price tag?

I can see why. It would probably tick off a few people. But Either way, people will buy/play it

 true that

I'm gonna guess 1-4 hours, but I'd love 4-10 or more.

I don't think they'd go through the trouble of making it with the new engine if it wasn't a fully playable game plus, the Attraction Flow was mentioned in the "2.9" leak but a KH3 demo has yet to be seen so I think Attraction Flow is going to be in 0.2. That being said, I don't think it will be a long game. Probably 10 hours like you said.

Though that would mean Nomura is going back on his word that there would be "no new games before KH3"

Well not really (imo), I think it'll be more of a prologue to KH3 than an actual game.

It's not going to be that long. I mean, what can they really do if it only takes place in the RoD? There's no Disney worlds to go to. It's probably just a short prequel to kingdom hearts 3 that is meant to show off the new engine. Speaking of which, I wonder what the preorder bonus is going to be.

I'm betting it's going to be 1-4 hours long, because it is kind of prologue after all. I don't think it'll too long.

1-4 hours, I'd think? Since it's using the new engine they'll be introducing the new mechanics, or at least some. I can't see much potential for certain things like leveling up to 100.

But maybe they'll surprise us and make it really in-depth, who knows?

Four hours at least. I hope it's longer than the playable Secret Episode from Birth by Sleep Final Mix.

Not entirely true. Remember, Aqua saw the remains of the Castle of Dreams in the Realm of Darkness. That means that any worlds that where swallowed by Darkness between BbS and KH1 could be vosited, including worlds that we've never seen before. Besides, if it's not playable, that's only 1 game and 2 video volumes, when the layout for the other two have been 2 games and 1 video volume.

I don't expect this to be too long. But I also don't expect this to be too short, either.

If anything, it'll serve as a nice little tech demo for III. I mean, if the failed lead-in for BBS Volume 2 gave us anything, it's that Aqua's journey through the Realm of Darkness is mostly going to consist of visiting worlds that were lost to Darkness in the middle period between BBS and KH1. I doubt we'll see too many of those worlds, probably just the ones that Aqua is familiar with like Castle of Dreams (obviously), Dwarf Woodlands, Enchanted Dominon, etc. Or you know, maybe we'll get some surprises and see worlds that were mentioned to be engulfed in Darkness in KH1, like Pride Lands or Land of Dragons.

yeah, you're right. ANYTHING can happen. I guess only time will tell.

I don't expect it to be that only nothing longer than 8 hours for sure but I think it will at least be longer than 2 hours so somewhere between those two lengths of time

I'ma take a guess here and say it'll be like FF XV and if thats the case then it's fine in my opinion and it could mean the same as FF XV where we get an update with more stuff. But who knows till we see. so 1-4 hours probably. I'd love for it to be a 10+ hour game but I don't see that happening. Either way I'm gonna preorder from square with overnigth shipping and get the CE if they have one.

Well, I'm going to go with the one to four hour option!  Odds are that A Fragmentary Passage will be short, since the title itself indicates it, ya know?  Think about it! Fragmentary= bits and bites.  In other words, it'll reveal the loose ends of the series, and give us more insight into the KH Universe, and what happened to Aqua during all her time in the Realm Of Darkness!

I can't wait for more info on this amazing game! X_X
