i can't believe that square put this by not showing us the new kh3 trailer

I really don't care about the trailer, to be honest. I don't like Square as a company, but there are bigger reasons I could have than them just not showing one trailer.

I was mad at Square Enix for the exact same reason... until you made this topic.

Now, I'm giggling slightly because I came to realise that we were anticipating a release from an unreliable source.

The fact they had a private event for a game trailer is incredibly stupid. The internet exists now, the fans want to see the game, and yet they choose to show a random group of a few.

true, why not just stream the event of the kingdom hearts fans. 

I would be mad at Square Enix if they confirmed that this trailer wouldn't be released to the public. However, that is not confirmed (yet at least and I hope not).

 

It's not Square's fault that they can't release the trailer to the public (yet) as I've been informed that it's Disney's decision on the matter and this trailer will most likely release later this week.

 

Am I mad at Square? No. I can be a little more patient for this trailer.

There was an update post on Twitter. But not from Square. I spoke about it constantly yesterday.

I'm not really mad, I'm just annoyed that the rumour was allowed to get so far in the first place. It's our fault really for not verifying it by ourselves. I could be childish and blame the news team, Disney or Square Enix, but really it's no one's fault but our own and the troll. So let's learn something for next time

I can really understand why many fans are mad at SE. It's just so unfair that they announce the event as such a big event and in the end we only got 3 screenshots. What I mean is SE do know very well how long we're waiting for this game. It's not fair that only a couple of fans are able to see such anticipated trailers and we hardly get anything. I don't know how to feel and I only hope that they better decide to release these trailers.

Everyone of us deserves news about KH3 and not only fans in Japan!

I'll hold onto my anger until D23 ends, heck, technically it hasn't even started yet

 

If we don't get the trailer by Monday, then I'll be angry at Square, until then it's the source's fault

I'm mad at SE because they announced the event long before E3 and promised to show more about KH3 and this suggests that we get a live stream and a trailer which won't be exclusively shown to the visitors of the event.

 

The launch event for KH HD 2.5 remix is different because they didn't announce anything KH3-related before and it was the first time that real KH3 gameplay was presented.

 

This is truly dissapointing and I don't understand it. What is the excuse for not showing it publicly RIGHT NOW? If SE could answer this question appropiately with a good reason I would not be mad anymore.

It's just how the game industry is these days. People, both companies and fans, are constantly building hype for everything. And if you build something up high, it's gonna fall eventually. I'm not mad. I've learned from past experiences and now I never expect to see anything. If there is something new, that's great. 

With 7 billion people on this earth, someone's going to get the news before me and post it somewhere. Until then, I'm not bothered.

Why would I be mad at a company because some random troll made promises for them?  I would be insanely furious had Square or Disney said they would release it and didn't, but that is not the case.  I have zero doubt that they will release the trailer (either when D23 actually starts or when it ends).  I think that the people who actually attended the event should enjoy a little more satisfaction of going to the event, rather than have it pretty much undermined by releasing the trailer the next day.  It's all about patience.

Yes, we all know how it was not right for them to release the trailer. It has happened so let's move on now. Also, I am not mad, but I am disappointed because I hoped and it was disappointed, but I also kept my cool and just waited. I even woke up today thinking that nothing was released and sure enough I was right. It's better to hype when you see a new trailer rather than build up an unreasonable amount of hype leading up to it and then being extremely disappointed and/or mad when it does not come or does not live up to "expectations". This is how the experience is ruined and why so many people bash and insult SQEX: over-the-top hype and unreasonable expectation. Too many people on this site have been on this road; only myself and some other people who have said so in their statuses (you know who you are since I can't remember who) remained calm about it. They made the smart move as did I. Therefore, we lost the least amount of sleep and energy over it. Maybe if people did this too, the experience would go much better for everyone and we would not hear people unreasonably say they are done with SQEX or with the KH series and accusing them of not caring for their fans all because they did not get what they want, when they wanted it, and/or how it was to be and/or why.

Kingdom Hearts is owned by Disney. So yes, Disney can make these decisions. They're probably keeping it till after D23.

I'm more just miffed that they are being so tight-lipped about when they're going to show us any trailers. But I'm not directing fault at them or anything, it's because of someone else messing up that we were mislead, not Square's. I'm annoyed but I'm not enraged.
