Vanilla 3 was good man. I still remember playing through that game the day it came out, cuz I got it shipped. My uncle and aunt front out of town were visiting but I was in my room exploring Olympus 😭

Three was certainly very disappointing in a lot of aspects but ignoring story the rest of the game is very well done.

the 1 thing that bothers me about kingdom hearts is actually not even the game

its the players who skip the story and just do the fights

and* then complain about the story being complicated or not understanding what's going on. like, my brother in christ, *you skipped the very story you don't understand

I have to deal with this a lot in Metal Gear and Evangelion circles 🙂

I never collected all the Lucky Emblems in KH3 because I wanted to find them without looking them up but then I did not managed to find them at all.
If they make something similar for KH4 please make it more enjoyable and convenient.
