I hope they give us one last something for Jump Festa 2019 for KH3 before release a month later.
ITzDarthLordRevan repliedI meant *bang not band. Stupid autocorrect. But, yeah. 2.8 did have a new trailer every 2-4 months. There's also Paris Games Week which is where 1.5+2.5 was announced and where the 0.2 opening was first shown. There's a slight chance we might get something there too, but I wouldn't be overly optimistic about it.

Merilly repliedI guess they're not going as far as FFXV with it because it's still a sequel. Of course they're also trying to reel in those that are new to the franchise but from what the interviews suggested, it has always been a game for the fans who already know about it and will buy it anyway. Which is not to say we won't get another trailer, we surely will and I'm certain t'll have impact, I just mean they're not making a huge show out of it like with FFXV.

Yeah, we did get a tremendous amount of news for 2.8 and the like but before that, it wasn't exactly expected from that event to provide anything new. I think what he meant basically was that the Omen trailer was the final trailer to boost everyone's excitement just like the possibility of a final KH 3 trailer at Jump Festa might do. Of course, they could still pull off a full CGI KH 3 trailer as long as it isn't in the game or if it's the opening. ITzDarthLordRevan repliedBut, there's a chance that may not happen. The trailer for the KH 0.2 opening doesn't count since it was actually in the game since it was the opening after all. I really wouldn't want to see the KH 3 opening until I play the game.
Merilly repliedI'm always a bit torn about CGI movies that do not end up being in the game. Yes, they look inpressive but it also feels a little like false advertising, promoting a game that will not look like this except for its opening. I know it's rather common to do and I liked the Omen trailer, I'm just not sure if KH3 needs it because the game does not need to be "sold" for a lot of people to buy it since they already played the other games. FFXV needed the promotion.
Merilly repliedThe game changed directors just as much as it has changed direction over the years and there were lots of people who were skeptical to buy it since its development was a mess and up to its release, we barely knew a thing what the story was about.

You know... I'm so happy with the current content for KH3 that just knowing we still have at least 2 more Disney worlds to expect is just amazing... simply incredible and exciting
Merilly repliedThere is no confirmation but I think to expect 2 is reasonable. They don't have to be the same size as other worlds, for example 100 Acre Wood was suggested by the leaks back in December. And I guess I would be disappointed if there wasn't at least one more. Simply for some variety since a lot of the color schemes are similar and I would like to see something more toward the hand-drawn era of Disney.

KeybladeMasterBalo repliedOh! I see Sparrow! Then again take for account how they have handled things so far... We got a TGS super trailer BEFORE TGS even happened! We got a Release Date reveal on a concert rather than a full game event. For some reason they seem to be making "big reveals" mostly on unexpected places rather than the places or events we are used to... so it's hard to say it's because there is no more content that they haven't revealed or mentioned anything.
KeybladeMasterBalo repliedBut I do understand what you say! I like to stay positive and think on the bigger picture rather than pushing myself back on my thoughts. If it happens then GREAT! If it doesn't then, OK I was wrong but nothing bad about it, the game it's already good enough. I consider stuff such as Nomura's answers when thinking on these things. He did say "Not many, but A FEW..." If there was just one more he wouldn't have said that as if there were more than one... but only...

Tyranto Rex repliedI have a feeling they are gonna release the intro before the game comes out, but it's gonna be one of the last things they show.
Merilly repliedI wouldn't put it beyond them to reveal it before its official release. They did the same with Chikai back then where the shorter version was part of the trailer and then they released the regular the regular length version when the album came out.
That's no guarantee of course, but it's not like there isn't precedence in this case either. And Jump Festa would be fairly close to the official reveal. Then again, it may have been a marketing thing to promote Utada's new...
