    Taking on Young Xehanort in bbsfm. I've gotten him down pretty far but then he vanishes and insta-kills me. (I'm using the Thunder Surge method)

    Spam dodging and use Thunder Surge towards him whenever you see an opening (When he casts tornado or does the aerial X strike). Just dodge a lot and you should be fine. If you're playing with Terra go more aggresive and spam Thunder Surge as often as possible. Hope this helps!

    I don't remember the last time I attacked him, but it sure was a long time ago. Yet, I remember very well that even being high-leveled, he was really hard to beat. Even though he's short on his life.

    I was level 62 I think. What I did was I equipped five Aerial Slams and three sets of Hi-Potions and Renewal Block. When he cloaks himself and shoots dark Vanitasi at you just spam Dodge. It's kinda up to luck.

    Yeah, it kinda is up to luck. And he's way too fast too. Nonetheless, it's fun battling him :D I'll be sure to equip like that when I later attack him

    I always liked that battle because it made little difference which level you were. He always kills you in 2-3 hits and doesn't get down much faster at lvl 99 than he does at lvl 40. The only difference is that you usually have more things unlocked if you level up normally but other than that...

     

    It's an interesting fight. Challenging, but really quick with a bit of luck and the right technique. It was nice to see a boss you did not need to level or have insane skills or dedi...

    I agree, it's very different from other bosses. If you know next to nothing about the boss it takes you by surprise. Thanks Merily :)

    I don't think it will have those kind of choices, though. xD

    I mean, it could, but with such a vast universe, each choice will make an impact that could drastically change the narrative, not only the ending. And since it will continue after the end,it would be kinda pointless because a canon plot has to be determined.

     

    I think what Nomura meant with Aqua in particular is that it might be a hard battle and that it's not a 2 minute effort, perhaps? I don't think the p...

    *player's decisions and timing will have any notable impact. Of course we never know but Nomura seems to like that dramatic kind of wording a lot.

    Probably veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery minor stuff for sidequests and what bonuses you get,that is unless the game has moree than one ending in mind.

    It's hard to sat there are a lot of good moments in that game. for me it would have to be the final part of the sephiroth fight with the omislash.

    Oh, I see! Yeah, that scene was pretty legit badass! I think that my favorite scene from the game was when Tifa was getting an in depth look at Cloud's subconscious and she was seeing different sides of him!

    He is one of those characters that needs their story resolved. In other words, Terra needs his story resolved as will Aqua. I wonder, now that I learned officially Nomura said she is a Xehanort, if she will become the missing darkness that must be replaced or retrieved?

    Yup! The added challenge was that it was a ball gown and we pretty much reversed engineered and old cosplay^^ We have one more cosplay to (hopefully) breeze through before the con next month!
