Is it me, or do the kingdom hearts 3 more seem more linear in the beginning of the game (Olympus and maybe monster's Inc) and more open world like as we get closer to game completion (pirates world and big hero 6)
KeybladeMasterBalo repliedI think all of the worlds look quite open IMO but The Caribbean definitely takes that to another level.

I finally have something plaid to wear when I play KH 3! Too bad it's a pair of PJ pants though...
ITzDarthLordRevan repliedI'd honestly would love to walk around the house in my PJs. However, I still live at home, so my parents wouldn't appreciate that unless we are all having a lazy day. It's one of the reason why'd love to move to a house of my own. Not that I hate my parents or anything.
By the way, I've seen you on quotev. I really like your fanfictions!
Merilly repliedMy father is also always complaning about that but he can't complain if they're just loose.
Tbh, he doesn't care if I laze around in PJs as long they're not the ones I've slept in. There's a thin line between my casual at home wear and sleep wear anyway.I'm questioning my sanity for using the same name and icon everywhere.
But thank you! I appreciate the compliment. (Although I need to update more often.)Merilly repliedBut I understand. It's nothing against your parents but we all have things we would like to do differently and on our own. I guess it's normal to sometimes wish to live on your own. I live on my own for a majority of the week to study and it does have its merits but it's sometimes also nice to be with the parents if you don't have a strained relationship. ^-^
ITzDarthLordRevan repliedYeah. I'd say it seems pretty normal. Especially when you turn 16 or 18. My parents and I have a relatively healthy relationship. So, I'd enjoy getting a visit from them once in a while when I move out.
Hey. Take all time you need to write. There is no rush. Of course, that's not much coming from me considering I haven't done anything with my story in over two years (not to mention it makes feel really cringey when I have to look at my old work.) Haha...
Merilly repliedRelatovely healthy sounds good enough to me, especially considering that we can't choose our parents and being related doesn't necessarily mean you need to love anyone, as harsh as that sounds. That's why it's always nice to hear that people get along most of the time.
I feel you there... I don't know hownpeople can be so confident about their work. I've been told that people like my works but I still feel the need to hide my face in a pillow every time I lo...
Merilly replied*look at it. Though it does mean more to me to take my time if it comes from someone who has the same problem as you do. I see a lot of people updating weekly or even several times a week while still maintaining great quality. Sure, it takes longer to write it by hand and type it off on my phone, but that's still amazing and a bit depressing. ^^' But you should also take the time you need. And if you feel like it isn't what you want anymore,
ITzDarthLordRevan repliedTrue. I'd rather read something that is actually very good quality wise than have somebody rush it. I've seen a few writers have a a set interval of when they release chapters. Most of them are pretty good, but I don't understand how they can have a schedule and stick to it when life as well as your ego can be quite unpredictable. While you are writing for other people to share your ideas and bring them into a world you've created or bring them into one you've tweaked, I w...
ITzDarthLordRevan repliedI wouldn't say it's always 100% but your readers. Writing is about yourself too. Works in any form of art are like an extension of yourself and if you don't 100% like it, you should be able to fix it or scrap it and start from scratch or just completely trash to if your heart just isn't in it anymore. They're is always something you could approve upon. But at the same time, nobody should be too critical of their work unless they just won't have the confidence to put th...
ITzDarthLordRevan repliedthere work on display at all. I've considered starting from scratch again even if I only have two chapters out.
If it makes any difference, your Sunlight fanfiction has made me cry at least twice (Don't worry. It was in a good way.) which is something written works have made rarely me do. I absolutely adore the way you've characterized Ven in this story. Of course, that could be just me being biased. ^.^
Merilly repliedMaybe some people are just that fast and dedicated.
Or have a lot of the chapters written down to a certain degree. And the length of chapters is also important. I figured that a lot of the weekly ones tend to have shorter chapters. While I make partly elaborate plans for chapters, I don't want to be too rigid when I write. Especially Sunlight has become a work that has changed drastically from my original plans once the readers became involved.Merilly repliedOf course, the essence has remained the same and some scenes have been planned from the very beginning but especially reader inserts tend to become something different. It's not necessarily a bad thing but as you said, these works are also an extension of the author so it's crucial to not getlost in always pleasing the reader as you go but also do what you want to do. It's really a delicate balance but ultimately you as an author also hold that authority.
Merilly repliedBy all means, even if it's only two chapters, you should do what you feel most comfortable doing. It's hard to keep the same mindset over the course of two years. You and your style may have changed drastically in the meantime, to the point where a seanless connection could even be impossible without tweaking some things. In the end I believe it should make you happy. I think a lot of people could write things which are appealing to the masses
Merilly repliedby following trends, but it's as you said. If your heart's not into it, it'll likely become trash.
Thank you >___< I am very critcial on myself with that work. Not only because Sunlight ist my first fanfiction but also because Kingdom Hearts as a whole is my dearest franchise so I have high expectations for myself. I don't deem the series perfect but I love it regardless. Ven was a particularly
Merilly replieddoffocult character to portray because everything happening in KHUX and 3 could throw that characterization out the window and I've taken a lot of liberties with his character that people don't like. But judging by what happens to Aqua, it doesn't seem as far-fetched. Still, everything was far more taxing than I thought and while I'm sorry it made you cry, it also gives me a sense of accomplishment that I managed to make you feel something for it.

I'm currently playing Persona 1... it took some time to get used to the gameplay, but I'm staring to get into the flow and I'm surprised that I actually enjoy it quite a bit!

Why do I believe they are gonna release KH3 Images and trailers each month now?
Awesome Sauce repliedBecause there's enough progress in development for Square to be able to show off a lot of content?
AwesomeKHfan repliedAnd they said I believe I can't remember that the KH Youtubers are gonna have a hard time now?

I also uploaded a new poem.

I am still a little upset with the trailers. I still feel like there is so much unresolved with the last Aladdin movie. I mean, what better way to finish it up than with Al and Jas getting married?
The Transcendent Key repliedWell hey, who knows? We still have a few worlds left to be revealed to us, so maybe Agrabah will be one of those said worlds! Don't lose faith!

The trailers were amazing, especially and particularly Pirates!

I'm still shook about Aqua being a Seeker...my poor baby, she needs to be saved! D':
KingdomHearts3 repliedShe fell to darkness. Remember she said she was losing that battle and the darkness was taking advantage of the cracks in her heart and so she eventually lost that battle. I mean she had a dark aura covering her. I don’t think anyone of the thirteen had an aura last time I checked.
The Transcendent Key replied@Keyblade101. And we shall be the ones to do so!
@Yessie. The question is, how did he get to her...?
@KingdomHearts3. Hmm, that is true! She did say that in 0.2! But remember that everyone in the organization has unique powers, so perhaps Aqua using a dark aura is a specialty of hers from her time in the Realm Of Darkness!
