Ok i just had an idea for a summon. Who here remembers the Disney Sing Along videos? Remember that blue owl in the intro he should be in it.

Just realized: Since Sora doesn't need to have met his summons to use them, we can easily still get summons from Zootopia and/or Moana. I mean come on, how hard is it to make a summon for the game?

Oh hey its vanitas
The Transcendent Key repliedYassss, one of my favorite villains from the Kingdom Hearts series! He's a badass, and I'm really happy he'll be a Seeker Of Darkness in Kingdom Hearts III!
The Transcendent Key repliedSooo, basically this is what you mean!

Ya, I can dig it. It'd be beyond badass to come upon a Vanitas like that in a Hot Topic! X3
The Transcendent Key repliedSpeaking of Vanitas, I really wanna cosplay as him in the future! X_X
The Transcendent Key repliedIt's definitely a cosplay I have in mind, because I already do a pretty decent Sora, and Vanitas is really just a deeper voiced Sora, so it's perfect! I just need to find the cosplay online, but sadly, I haven't found it! I did find the Void Gear, though!
The Transcendent Key repliedIndeed so! When I discovered that Haley also voiced Vanitas, I was like: "Whoa, impressive vocal range!" I had a "mindblown" moment back then.

Lol, but hey, I think Sora's voice has matured nicely! He doesn't sound that high pitched! He has a nice meld with his KHII and DDD self!
The Transcendent Key repliedDon't worry, I'm sure that Sora will sound perfect! Haley's a great voice actor, so I have faith!
And remember that he voices Vanitas too, so that should give you comfort should you feel discouraged by his performance as Sora! X3
The Transcendent Key repliedHaha, don't worry, friend. All the pieces will be set into place. I'm confident about it!
The Transcendent Key repliedBut hey, the holiday season is coming soon, and with that, discounts on consoles! So this could be your chance, before KHIII comes out!

It's crazy that that it's been over a decade that we've been waiting for KH 3
keyslinger repliedI remember when KH 2 came out I was like "well one more game left". Was I wrong or what?
KeybladeMasterBalo repliedThank GOD! I always said that it didn't matter if they took another 5 years to make the game good as long as we knew WHEN! Once we do the wait will be less painful :v

I FINALLY SAW COCO! GOD, THAT MOVIE IS EMOTIONALLY DESTRUCTIVE! IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE! :'D
Keyblade101 repliedI know right?! It was absolutely beautiful! It's gotta be my absolute favorite Pixar movie now!
:D
Keyblade101 repliedNow that you've seen Coco, I'd like to tell you a couple of things I've thought of for a Coco world in a future KH game: I was thinking the world's logo/name could appear in a papel picado banner (the paper banners seen throughout the movie) like when the movie's name first appeared; Miguel, Hector, and Imelda could be additional party members.
Keyblade101 repliedMiguel could use his guitar to blast enemies away while he's in the party, Hector could possibly use his own bones since he can remove them easily enough, and Imelda could use her dreaded boot as her weapon.
Keyblade101 replied(This last one I've seen on a couple different sites) the enemies that could appear in the Coco world could be a mixture Heartless and Dream Eaters, since Dream Eaters look like they would fit in particularly well with the alebrijes in the Land of the Dead.
Keyblade101 repliedJust so you know there's a novel version of Coco called "Coco: A Story of Music, Shoes, and Family" by Diana Lopez that goes more in depth in the scenes from the movie and even gives the readers new scenes about the Rivera Family's past and what was happening with the other Riveras in the Land of the Dead while Miguel was with Hector. I got it myself after watching the movie and I HIGHLY recommend it to any Coco fan!
The Transcendent Key repliedDang, those are all some pretty dang unique concepts for having them as party members! I could easily see them acting that way in battle! Ooh wow, and Dream Eaters would fall in line and fit in with Alebrijes! That's a pretty cool concept!
Also, that novelization sounds really interesting! I should get it when I'm able!
Keyblade101 repliedI've also seen a couple tumblr posts where people would like to see little Coco shorts like they've done with Toy Story. I for one would LOVE that! I'd especially LOVE to have shorts that showed more of Hector's other attempts to cross the Marigold Bridge! The novel version I told you about tells us of three other attempts before the Frida Khalo costume.
Would you like to hear about them now, or would you rather wait until you read the novel? Keyblade101 repliedI've also seen a couple tumblr posts where people would like to see little Coco shorts like they've done with Toy Story. I for one would LOVE that! I'd especially LOVE to have shorts that showed more of Hector's other attempts to cross the Marigold Bridge! The novel version I told you about tells us of three other attempts before the Frida Khalo costume.
Would you like to hear about them now, or would you rather wait until you read the novel? Keyblade101 repliedNo prob you wanna hear Hector's three other known attempts?
Haha, I just need some specification when I made multiple comments sometimes
The Transcendent Key repliedOh wow, that sounds funny! Tell me more!

And also, yeah, Coco shorts would be awesome! If Pixar's been able to make Toy Story and Cars shorts, they can do Coco shorts too!
Keyblade101 repliedOk, here's three more of Hector's other attempts of trying to cross the bridge (one post at a time):
The year before the events of the Coco movie Hector disguised himself as the artist Diego Rivera (Frida Khalo's husband) by stuffing cotton into his clothes and the cotton fell out of the holes in his clothes!
Keyblade101 repliedYear unknown: Hector painted himself as an Alebrije but didn't let the paint dry so he left colorful hand and footprints everywhere.
Keyblade101 repliedYear unknown: Hid inside of a raspa (snow cone) cart and was caught because he forgot that those carts are filled with ice and, according to the departure agent he was talking to, his shivering bones were louder than the fireworks!
The Transcendent Key repliedOh wow, that sounds hilarious! Dang, why didn't they put those attempts in the movie? That would've been hilarious to see! Although, given the pace and the tone of the movie and how it was a little more serious, I get that maybe those moments were too comical.
Keyblade101 repliedYeah, it does sound hilarious!

I hope they do make Coco shorts because I would LOVE to see those attempts by Hector become animated!
I'd also like to see what he used Chicharon's van for: I'd imagine just driving straight through the departure gateway, only to fall straight through the bridge!
Keyblade101 repliedI'd also like to see what Hector did with Chicharon's femur bone! I mean, c'mon Hector! What did you use that poor man's femur bone for?!
XD
Keyblade101 repliedHector had 92 additional years of attempts we could see become tv shorts (not counting the Frida costume and the three from the book)! PLEASE let it happen Pixar!!!
Keyblade101 repliedI'd love to see as many "Hector Attempting to Cross the Marigold Bridge" shorts as possible! That man had almost a century of creative ideas to try and cross that bridge! You gotta give us some more, Pixar!
:D
The Transcendent Key repliedYa, it'd be curious and hilarious as heck to see shorts like that be made, not to mention heartwarming! It just shows the dedication that Hector had, how he never gave up on trying to go back to the world of the living to see Coco! That is truly a sign of a good father!
Keyblade101 repliedYeah it is!
I love Hector, he's my absolute FAVORITE character! I love his determination to get back to Coco even when the odds are hopelessly stacked against him!
:D
The Transcendent Key repliedIndeed so, he's the model character for what a loving father should be, ya know?
Keyblade101 repliedExactly!
Oooh I REALLY hope that Coco gets brought into the KH franchise someday! With the amazing boost in the technology shown in the newest KH3 trailers at E3 I have high hopes for how a Coco world would look AMAZING to explore and as close as possible to how everything looks in the movie!
The Transcendent Key repliedDude...with Nomura and his team's advancements in KH graphics...Coco would be a dream for the KH series! With Pixar being introduced in KHIII, I have faith Coco could make it for the next saga!
Keyblade101 repliedYES!!
PLEASE!!! PLEASE MAKE IT SO MR. NOMURA!Though I think I would prefer it if Coco was brought in when it's the next numbered installment. What do you think?
The Transcendent Key repliedAnd I am sure he will!

Yeah, I agree with you. Kingdom Hearts IV would be the perfect candidate!
Keyblade101 repliedYES!

I thought of the perfect name for the Coco's world's Keyblade: Recuérdame, which is the Spanish translation of "Remember Me", Hector's song to Coco!
The Transcendent Key repliedDang, that would be a neat name for a Keyblade from a world based on Coco! I dig it!
Keyblade101 repliedDo you think that whenever Sora and Co. enter the Coco world should it start in the Land of the Living or in the Land of the Dead?
Keyblade101 repliedAnd in the event that it starts in the Land of the Dead should Sora and Co. be skeletonized to keep the world order, or just Sora skeletonized and Donald and Goofy look like Alebrijes? OR Donald and Goofy look like Alebrijes and Sora has to wear a shoeshine disguise like Miguel did in the movie?
The Transcendent Key repliedI think that most likely, Sora would be skeletonized and Donald and Goofy would be Alebrijes. And as for where they'd be when they'd arrive, I'd like for it to be inside the Land Of The Dead!
Keyblade101 repliedYeah! And Sora would be like "Why are there skeletons all over the place?!"
Keyblade101 repliedAnd then he sees Donald and Goofy as Alebrijes and be like "What happened to you guys?!"
Keyblade101 repliedAnd then Sora sees his hands or his reflection on a window or something and says "What happened to ME?!"
Keyblade101 repliedOh, oh! And maybe with Sora asking a bunch of questions about the Land of the Dead might make its residents think Sora's a new arrival after dying and some of the skeletons he talks to say something along the lines of "poor dear" because of how young Sora is!
The Transcendent Key repliedYeah, I know! Wow, the more we discuss about this, the more likely it is to imagine Coco in Kingdom Hearts! It melds and meshes perfectly together, and this world could be an excellent means of carrying on the message of death. I'd love for Hector to explain to Sora about the "Final Death" like in that scene that Hector explained to Miguel about said death! Pretty epic stuff, for sure!
Keyblade101 repliedOh man, yes! Now that I think about it, has Sora actually ever faced the subject of death before? I can't remember.
Keyblade101 repliedOh! Say that some of the enemies Sora and Co. fight in the Land of the Dead are Dream Eaters; what if Sora comes across Hector and Miguel with a few Dream Eaters surrounding them and Miguel asks Hector what kind of Alebrijes the Dream Eaters are and poor Hector doesn't think they are Alebrijes!
Keyblade101 repliedOh, hey do you think that the Wight Knight Heartless (the mummy-looking ones) would fit in the Coco world? I think they would.
The Transcendent Key repliedNot directly, that I recall! I mean, he himself has technically "died" like what happened in KHI, but the concept of death, well, I don't think he's fully tackled it! Unless seeing dead pirates in Port Royal counts.
Lol, and yeah, that'd be pretty worrisome for Hector, him noticing the Dream Eaters aren't supposed to be in the Land Of The Dead! The Transcendent Key repliedYes, it definitely would be interesting, it could probably provide Sora with a new perspective upon seeing the "final death" take place!
Oh, and yeah, the Wight Knight could fit in, though it has more of a mummy's appearance, and since the Land Of The Dead in Coco looks lively, they'd maybe look a tiny bit out of place, since they're more Halloween-esque in appearance!
Keyblade101 repliedYES!

Yeah, I admit the mummy look would make the Wight Knight Heartless stick out a bit but I was more focused on the skeletal aspect of it with being able to see their ribs around the Heartless symbol.
Keyblade101 repliedOk, now I'm PSYCHED at how potential new Heartless and Dream Eaters could look like in a Coco world!
The Transcendent Key repliedWell, when you put it that way, it makes sense!
Yep, it's something that excites me as well, and I have no doubt Nomura is already looking into Coco for the next saga!
Keyblade101 repliedYES!!!
PLEASE PUT COCO IN KH4 NOMURA!!!
:D
Oh! Do you think that if Sora's journey in the Coco world does start in the Land of the Dead then would he need a photo to cross the Marigold Bridge in order to keep up with the "world order" so he could cross into the Land of the Living?
The Transcendent Key repliedHmm, that's an interesting point you make! But since Sora doesn't follow that tradition that Mexico does about having a photo in a shrine, how would that work?
Keyblade101 repliedHmm, maybe Sora and Co. could start in the Land of the Living and meets Miguel at the family shoe shop and something happens that causes them to get a group photo??
Keyblade101 repliedOh! What if Sora meets Miguel's Abuelita Elena at the Rivera shoe shop and she notices Sora's boots and keeps on asking him if he would like Rivera brand boots instead!
The Transcendent Key repliedLol, that's actually a good way to go! And then, after Sora tries on some new boots, Elena decides to commemorate the occasion by taking a photo, and Donald and Goofy happen to appear in it too, so they can have insurance for coming back to the world of the living whenever they are in the Land Of The Dead!
Keyblade101 repliedYea it is!

Oh! What if you had to fight against Pepita as a sort of mini-boss fight while she was chasing after Miguel?
The Transcendent Key repliedOh, that'd be awesome! One would have be on their toes fighting against Pepita because of how fast and lethal she is!
Keyblade101 repliedYES!

Oh! And what if after completing the Coco world we get Dante and Pepita as sort of summons afterwards?
Keyblade101 repliedOh man! Now I can't get the picture of Abuelita Elena pestering Sora about his boots out of my head!
Keyblade101 repliedOh, and back to the Pepita boss fight: I can't help but relive the torture of fighting Lucifer as Ven in BbS and the mysterious Heartless as Aqua in Bbs Final Mix! Seriously, all that pouncing in both fights was a PAIN! DX I can't help but imagine Pepita pouncing at Sora off of those super tall buildings in the Land of the Dead!
The Transcendent Key repliedYeah, I think they'd be cool summons, though personally, I'd prefer Hector!

Lol, yeah, I can imagine it, too!
The Transcendent Key repliedOh, tell me about it, and it would be even more of a nightmare because of the advanced AI that is capable on current gen systems.
Keyblade101 repliedYeah, Hector would be a nice summon!

OH NO!!! I FORGOT ABOUT THE NEW AI SYSYTEM!!!! DX
Keyblade101 repliedOh man! Imagine how amazing Flow Motion would be with all of those super tall buildings in the Land of the Dead! How high could you fly up??
The Transcendent Key repliedIndeed he would!
Yep, the new AI will slaughter us!

Oh, definitely, we'd soar pretty high, and have a bird's eye view of the whole world, maybe!
Keyblade101 repliedHaha!

Oh I would LOVE a bird's eye view of the Land of the Dead! Hey, what if they did something like in 0.2 when Aqua got to the highest point in the Castle of Dreams area and showed us the whole landscape?
Keyblade101 repliedOh, and what fantastic minigames could we possibly be met with in the Coco world?

I for one wouldn't mind a couple sing-along ones with Miguel and Hector. The songs in Coco were so good and they had an ACTUAL reason to be there instead of everyone just breaking into song!
The Transcendent Key repliedOOOH, THAT'D BE AMAZING!
Yesh, I think a musical mini-game would be perfect, and it would fit well, since Sora has branded the Keyblade as a guitar on previous occasions, that being whenever he summons Stitch in KHII and does the Ohana Limit Break with him!
Keyblade101 repliedYES!!!!
:D
:DOh! What do you think the treasure chests would look like in the Coco world?
The Transcendent Key repliedThey'd probably be blue, with gold lining up the edges and the overall design of the chest having neon colors like the buildings of said world!
Keyblade101 repliedYes! Oh, and I think there should be skulls on them too because there are so many skull-themed things in the Land of the Dead throughout the movie!

Oh, if there were to be singing minigames, which parts of Un Poco Loco do you think Sora would sing? I think he'd join in on the "leaves my cebaza shaking! You are just un poco loco!" parts, but where else could he sing at?
The Transcendent Key repliedYep, skulls are great as well!

As for Sora, I think he'd make good for backup vocals created just for the game!
Keyblade101 repliedHere's a link to the video. Hope you enjoy
:
They're all very interesting, though there's a scene concerning the Marigold Bridge that happened in one of the original versions of the story that I'd LOVE to see fully animated somehow in KH4: It starts at 20:03 and stops at 22:07.
Keyblade101 repliedI love all of the deleted scenes except for the Way of the Riveras song. That one okay but it just seemed a little too odd to me since the family was supposed to hate music and yet there they were singing away.
Keyblade101 repliedThe deleted scenes that I love the most are the ones with Pepita, the bus chase scene, the Marigold Bridge, and Hector the Tour Guide!
I LOVE Hector the Tour Guide the most!! He's so funny!!
The Transcendent Key repliedAwesome, I'll take a look at it when I'm able! Based on your descriptions, the deleted scenes sound awesome! But yeah, I'd agree that the Way Of The Riveras song would have been very out of place for a family that hates music, ya know?
Keyblade101 repliedYeah they are awesome! I'm sure you'll love them! There's also commentary from the directors right before each deleted scene so you know what they had in mind when making the scene.

And yeah, The Way of the Riveras song was WAY out of place for the family lol
The Transcendent Key repliedSweet, that's a pretty cool added bonus!
Lol, yep, good thing it was cut, then!
Keyblade101 repliedHaha! Yup!

I found a picture someone on tumblr drew of their idea for a Coco Keyblade. Would you like the link to the picture?
Keyblade101 repliedOh! What mixture of wacky colors do you think the Alebrije versions of Donald and Goofy would have in the Coco world? And what facial markings do you think skeletonized Sora would have? I'd imagine there would be a sort of crown marking on his forehead and probably the dots around the eye sockets, but I can't think of what he'd have on his cheeks.
The Transcendent Key repliedYeah, sure, link it to me!

For Donald and Goofy, I'm sure their colors would be neon yellow and green for Goofy, and neon blue and silver for Donald! For Sora, the ideas you mentioned are sweet! I don't know what else would decorate his facial markings, though!
Keyblade101 repliedOoh that sounds cool!

Here's the link: https://78.media.tumblr.com/85f4bff9ffc4eb0e583fa27ab4ee1725/tumblr_p39bwuAYXd1ql3q5to2_1280.png
Keyblade101 repliedOh geez! I just realized: if Sora and Co. do start out in the Land of the Living, how is he going to explain Donald and Goofy to the living Rivera family?! I can honestly picture Abuelita Elena chasing after those two with her sandal!
XD
Keyblade101 repliedI imagine she'd be just fine with Sora, but not a giant talking duck and dog!
XD
The Transcendent Key repliedThat's...actually a good question! Well, but remember, Aladdin, Snow White, Jack Sparrow and other characters never had a problem with Donald and Goofy, apparently, so maybe it wouldn't be a problem with the Riveras? Though the prospect of Elena chasing them down is a funny one to think about!

AND HOLY KANOSHKAS, THAT'S A BEAUTIFUL KEYBLADE DESIGN! :'D
Keyblade101 repliedThat's true, none of them ever did have a problem with Donald and Goofy. And yeah that would be EXTREMELY HILARIOUS to watch!
XD
And yeah, that Keyblade design is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I think that would be the perfect design for the Coco world Keyblade!
:D
Keyblade101 repliedWhere do you imagine the locations of the save points in the Coco world? I think there'd most likely be one in the cenote in the Land of the Dead (that huge chasm Ernesto had Miguel and Hector thrown into), and I think there'd be another one at the Departure Gates where they cross the Marigold Bridge, but I can't think of where any others would be.
The Transcendent Key repliedLol, yeah, here's hoping it happens one day!
And yeah, pretty much the locations you spoke of are perfect!
Keyblade101 repliedYes!

Maybe there could be a save point at the edge of the cemetery and/or Mariachi Plaza in the Land of the Living? Oh! And save points at Shantytown and the Plaza de la Cruz in the Land of the Dead!
The Transcendent Key repliedYep, those sound like ideal spots for save points! You really have an awesome mental layout for the Coco world!
Keyblade101 replied
I can't help it, I'm just so excited at the fact we could potentially get a Coco world that I can't help but think of what aspects could fit and how things could go.
Keyblade101 repliedOh! Which returning Heartless and Dream Eaters would you like to see in a Coco world?
When it comes to Heartless, there'd most likely be the normal Shadows and Neoshadows, and maybe more recent types like Flutterings? Dream Eaters (Spirits and Nightmares), I'd like to see Meow Wow, Keeba Tiger, Tama Sheep, Me Me Bunny, Komory Bat, Necho Cat and Zolephant.
The Transcendent Key repliedYeah, I hear you! It is a pretty exciting concept, and I was talking about this with my nieces, whom I watched the movie with again last night!
As for returning Heartless and Dream Eaters, for Heartless, I'd go with Red Nocturnes, Yellow Operas and those types of Heartless since they'd fit well! As for Dream Eaters, Eagliders, Yogi Rams and Necho Cats, cuz they look like they'd fit in with the Alebrijes!

Is it a bad thing to hate what you loved for so long?
KeybladeMasterBalo repliedNot exactly, people change as they grow up. There are experiences that change us through time and what we once liked might not be what we like today. It's all about being human.
KeybladeMasterBalo repliedYou must have your reasons. You might have developed a hate for the gameplay or the designs are not what you expected. Maybe the overwhelming number of species in the franchise might have overloaded your interest in some way. Only you know why but my aim to life is to find the good things in something and set them apart from the bad things.
KeybladeMasterBalo replied@Vulpix Oh! So it's a conflict about personal opinions! You must gird yourself my friend because in life you will find A WHOLE LOT of this cases. Some persons are just negative enough because you don't share their opinions. But no worries, don't take it out on the game itself. Sometimes I see how people loathe Atlantica in KH while I for myself like it. If people don't like it it's quite OK as long as they don't intend me to dislike it.

Clouded Sun repliedThe Royal Edition feels like a great game right now... But 2019 is likely when the "Complete Edition" will be done. I say if you can still wait, wait.
Roxas that's a stick repliedOk! I'll probably wait until then! And Kingdom Hearts 3 is meant to be coming out in 2019 as well!!
