    Am I the only one who doesn't really understand the purpose of "unboxing" vids? Why would you want to watch someone open up stuff? Unless it's a fresh pack of gum, that they can share? xD

    People who are interested in whatever it is can see what all they get with it. I recently watched an unboxing video of the Metal Slime PS4 since I'm considering importing one, and I wanted to know what I'd get in the package.

    But doesn't the advertisement of (insert product name here) usually tell you will be included? I agree with WakingDawn, it kinda spoils the fun.

     

    Unless you really are missing something from your package....then I could see why a vid would be helpful. xD

    It's still nice to get to see it for yourself, though. It also gives you a really good idea of what it actually looks like. For example, I always thought the USB Bubble Metal Slime that came with the PS4 looked absolutely stupid in the screenshots, but when I saw it in the video, it actually looked really nice. The way I see it, it's just a nice way to show people what something looks like in case they're interested in it but can't decide if they want it, or if they can't...

    Hmmm....alright, I suppose that makes sense. You can watch the vid as a way of analyzing if it's truly worth it or not.....Also, you can get a good idea of the scale of some objects. (How big/ tall they are. etc. )

    But I still see my point more clearly here, I find that not knowing what the inside of a movie/game looks like is more rewarding when you finally get it so you can see how the disc looks like. However I will agree that seeing what something like a video game system or an Amiibo looks like before getting it is really helpful as well.

    Well my friend bought one at a convention in FL a while ago for his now ex-girlfriend. He says that keeping it isn't exactly the best idea, since it's not a reminder of a great memory. So I'm going to buy it from him.

    I don't think I'd like it to be made out of wood. :-/ Wood breaks too easily, while it takes a lot to damage metal.

    I believe there's a method to make wood sturdier than usual, somekind of paint or something like that xD
