Also, I got Star Fox 64 3D so the only game that interested me this time was Dr. Mario, the same version I had on my DSi, before it stopped working.
Shulk repliedA Zelda game is possible. I won't expect Smash until October. I remember they offered Smash 64 once (That's how I got it), so they could do that again.
I got Star Fox 64 through Club Nintendo a long time ago, so I was set for August. SMB2 is cool and all, but I'd rather save my coins for something bigger than an NES game. Dr. Mario is cool, but I suck at it, so I think I'll just stick to the Wiiware version.

So I had Gaur Plains playing in my head all day at school. It's been almost a week and I'm still freaking hyped over Shulk being in Smash Bros.

Decided to replay Xenoblade Chronicles. It's Reyn time baby.

@Tails, Yep that's why I decided to go back as well. That Shulk trailer got me hyped for both his appearance and Xenoblade Chronicles X so I went and played the next best thing

Okay so any gameer knows that Silent Protagonists tend to be Over Powered, swagmeisters, or both. I think it would be interesting to see a SP who is none of the these things, has no special abilities, relatively low stats, (though still high enough to be useful in battle) and is at best, only tolerated, or at worst, hated by the other party members, at least initially.

Arya Stark repliedReferencing Ludger? Yeah... He's kind of ridiculous. Though technically he's not silent. It's just that you're the one who chooses what he says, and there's no voice acting for your choice, so he feels silent.
Isamu Kuno repliedWell I only used him because he's the first SP ever in a tales game and FF doesn't really do them anymore. Ludgar being OP doesn't bother me because almost all members of the Kriznik clan have those abilities. He was actually quieter in the JP version, but yeah, protagonists along those lines.

Cyber Shaman repliedI think there's already a female incarnation of Link...well kinda. It's the nameless protagonist in Dark Could. They both look alike it's not even funny, most likely Dark Cloud is based off The Legend of Zelda. But if the main character is not a female, then holy crap.

Usually when things like movies or video games go against the social norms ( like having a atheist or female main charcter , or having the male and female lead to be a interracial couple ) the majority in whatever group in the situation get a little butthurt so they make some claim that it would make people feel uneasy which is just a excuse to continue whatever prejudice agenda they have.

Even today devs still do this.
