    @Black Star College is totally different than grade school. No one cares about who's cool or popular or anything like that anymore; there's tens of thousands of students (assuming) on a single campus who are all too preoccupied with their own lives/problems

    Well, the thing is, it's through a program in my high school... So I'm a 16 year old going into a college where there probably won't be any people my age in any of my classes. ._.

    Age doesn't really matter at college; I met people younger than me and people years older- plus in big lecture classes everyone's either trying to listen to the teacher or playing games on their computer/texting on their phones/etc. so they're not out to find people younger than them to pick on xD

    So I began reading all Naruto episodes again... I don't if it's nostalgia from the first time I read and really into the series... But it's seems a lot better than the current episodes. A lot more rational thinking, strategy, and less flashy new Rasengans. I still love the series, and it's going well for a ending I guess, but I wonder where they lost all they had.

    I'm honestly the other way around. While I love the entire series, the first part seemed like "LUCKY RASENGAN AND NO CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT" to me.

    But that first season with Zabuza and the whole 'killing people as kids is what ninja really are' was so dark and gritty! :O

    (I was actually talking about up through Sasuke Retrieval arc)

    It was pretty dark, but you have to give it credit for shaping the series. That experience is pretty much what made Naruto who he is; trying to prove that ninjas are much more than just tools. I can't think 100% straight enough to come up with a good explanation of my thoughts, but yeah, I think that meeting Zabuza really helped Naruto find his "ninja way" he always talked about.

    Wait...we're talking about the original series being a little better than Shippuden right? o.o I'm defending the Zabuza story- 'gritty' and 'dark' are the reasons I liked it xD

    Oh. xD Well, Shippuden had some really dark moments too. I mean, Sasuke vs Itachi was pretty dark.

    Also, I like both Part 1 (Original) and Part 2 (Shippuden), I just like Shippuden a bit more. I find it to have more development with it. Still love the original series, though.

    Yeah, Kakashi even mentions the nindo during the war! But I meant this dark tone you mentioned, a lot people died, and there was chaos everywhere... Now when there's destruction, someone uses a jutsu and brings everyone back (an example of what you said) xD I like that in it's own way, but they have been more cliche recently? I think that's what I'm trying to say.

    Well, the only time that someone was revived after a war was the Pain arc. I don't think that the people who died during the current war will be revived again. The Edo Tensei's more of a temporary thing, they'll probably all go back after that.

    Kakashi's still a really strong ninja, they're just facing stronger opponents. Kakashi was really helpful against one of the two current villains, also.

    Yeah. To be honest, I feel like I can't like them as much when they were younger. I like their more developed, older selves more, so I can't look at their younger selves the same way anymore. I remember back when Sakura was always a jerk to Naruto, now they act like siblings. It's just weird looking back. ._.

    lol I guess. But my problem isn't really with Shippuden. They managed to keep things dark. I too miss the old days, but even as I read I want to see they progress too xD

    I'm just a little upset with Madara I guess. He came back and they're making him insanely strong. Just seems like they don't care abou training

    And I hear about Kakashi, "so mysterious, so calm... Plus he likes books" xD

    Well, Madara was always strong. I mean, he's considered a shinobi god.

    Exactly about the Kakashi thing! 8D The sharingan, his cool attitude, his unknown past- plus the fact he was the strongest Leaf ninja you knew (but back then only a handful of 'em had been introduced xD)

    Well, Madara was always like that *inside* the manga xD They chose to make him that strong! And though I mentioned him, the whole way they raised the ninjas 'levels' it frustraing for me =S So strong there's no need for strategy. "Just release an inferno chain, whoa I win" xDx

    Yeah! Everyone feared him, and he was so lazy xD Though Gai claims to be ahead in their score lol

    Well, there's still a strategy element. For example, the Ten Tails' jinchuuriki being weak to Senjutsu only.

    I think it's more of a decrease... It's not like before. Something's changed, I just don't know how to put it as well? They're making it sound too easy I guess.

    Yeah. xD That, and Jiraiya vs Pain actually had quite a bit of strategy involved, with the different Paths all fighting at once.

    that's tough... well its about a boy who unlocks a power to make weapons out of the souls of people around him and his fight to save his country from an corrupt force. its a futuristic setting.
