    @Xiro it's mostly a conceptual class focused on like level design and character design, I don't think there's much programming in it

    So, I bought a Play Arts Kai Kingdom Hearts III Sora figure at a con recently and I need a bit of help with it. Sora has a separate hand that can only hold his keyblade. I wanna put the keyblade in without breaking his fingers off. If anyone can help me, please send me a message on what I can do to put the hand in place.

    I don't know how it is with this figure, but I have some where you can open the weapon and slide it through. Otherwise, the PAKs are usually sturdy. It is not easy to break them off if you're careful. (Albeit it being somewhat difficult at times... Had the same problem with my Roxas PAK.)

    I hope you're right. I don't want to break his fingers off. The thing was so expensive.

    Unlike static arts, the material is a bit more stretchy and won't immediately break off. Of course you shouldn't apply brute force but you can part the hand a little to press the Keyblade into the palm. Just don't overdo it and it should work. Those things are a pain sometimes...

    Yeah the new ones are tough to maneuver. I stuck a pencil through my KH3D Riku's hand and kind of pulled an Indiana Jones with the sandbag replacing the pencil with the keyblade...now I'm not sure I can get it out which is fine I guess. However I also have a Roxas Play Arts Kai figure and his hand works just fine.

    Good thing that hand is basically meant to carry just the Keyblade and is removable so you never have to get it out again. :D The PAKs are worse than Ikea furniture at times.

    Hmmm... have you tried using a toothpick? Slide it into the palm and move the fingers apart a little and while doing so, press the Keyblade into the gap.

    Well, after a little bit, I found that if you use a hair drier, you can make the plastic in the hand warm enough to become malleable and grip the keyblade's handle.

    With good reason. There's always the possibility of something breaking since it's only PVC. Even with the help of other things.

    Would you two recommend another figure? Like, Riku or Roxas?

    I have only seen the prototype of Roxas but Riku is a pretty nice figure. If you prefer static arts, there's a Sora Gallery Arts coming out soon. And in July, there'll be Aqua. Since most PAKs are limited, I'd consider picking her up. The normal KH2 Sora and Roxas PAKs cost a fortune now.

    I think Aqua will sell out rather quickly and Square isn't exactly known for restocking. Most figures and other merchandise are gone for good once they sell out and rise in value rather swiftly depending on the franchise, so I'd keep an eye out for her.

    They've become rather expensive over the years... Though their quality has become better too. I wish there were more static arts though x.x

    Yeah, they basically are. They tend to be made of higher quality material and I like that there are no visible joints.

    Unfortunately, they don't have one yet. Square mostly has Play Arts Kai and other companies can't/won't produce KH figures... But if the Sora Gallery Arts sells well, maybe they will consider having more. :D

    Yup. ^_^ Though, this purchase will have to be one in a million. Sora cost me $130 at a con.

    Exactly. Personally, I'm more of a Static Arts fan since the quality is usually better and having one dynamic pose would be nice. And they cost about the same as PAKs now. I think they're becoming too expensive for what they offer. Epsecially when KH2 Sora and Roxas were only half the price.

    Yeah, during their sale in the online shop. Now they cost 200+ because of the limited availability. I think that's a reasonable price for a PAK. What do you prefer?

    Eh. It's a little too rich for my blood. I was just happy to find Sora for that price.

    Same here... 130 is already a lot and scraping hard at my limit for figures.

    Yeah. That's why I'm tending more toward quality static arts with dynamic poses instead of PAKs. I don't see people actually playing with them and I'm not someone to change their positions all too often either.

    It *would* be a better thing to have a static arts thing. I just like how statues are in general. I've got one of Cyborg 18 from Dragon Ball Z that is perfect the way it is.

    They tend to be more beautiful if done correctly. I have several scale figures and the coloring is just that much better in that price segment. Which Cyborg 18 figure is it? :D

    Or, that's the title I found when I looked her up. She's in tight fitting jeans, dark and light purple t-shirt, and staring over her shoulder. Essentially, one of the safest Cyborg 18 figures out there.

    Just looked it up and it does look very good, especially for the initial price. I think that's something Square should consider because it's within an acceptable range and it looks decidedly better. :D

    Okay that is indeed strange. It does happen at times (I was missing the palm tree for one of the formation arts and had some weird black plastic thing in the package) but it's such a shame >_< Have you tried contacting the seller?

    Yup. But, that does add a bit of value to your figure, though. Kinda like a snowflake, not two figures are completely alike.
