So... My reply...

Aqua, for sure. She showed me how important friends truly are and that we must do anything we can to aid them in a time of need.

I chose one from each of the options, Aqua, Riku and Axel.

I'm so torn between them all... Roxas, Axel, Xion....... Narrowing it down....

The character that has made the biggest impact on me is Axel. He has shown me that one can follow a dark path, but can change ones ways in order to follow the path of light.

Much like Riku but Axel has cooler hair... ;D

Aqua, she would sacrifice herself even to save her friends and she looks out for them.

Roxas because he showed me how great it is to have real friends.

axel because i always wanted a way to spike long hair but never knew one

Sora for stabbing himself to wake Kairi up.

Its not surprising that most of the votes thus far say Roxas, Xion, or Axel. After all, these three are the most human, even though the are all nobodies. Even though Roxas doesn't know exactly what friendship is, you know the sadness within him when Xion dies. The innocence presented in him also makes us connect with him, because its the small things that matter the most. Xion is a confused one, as many of us are. We don't always know what the right choices are, until the options are presented to us. Axel, being the joking one, is human because... well, how more human can you get? Funny, but sensitive, serious, but understanding. This is the perfect choice. Sora may be sort of human, but is way to happy to be so. Kairi is... well, I don't know, all we know is that she is there. Riku is always like "Eh, no biggy." So I figured they'd be last. Aqua, Ventus, and Terra was obviously a hard one to choose between. They all have thier emotions that they cycle through, and the only true sadness you see is from Ven and Aqua, just like you should. Terra is more confident, so he isn't going to show his sadness alot, but you know that its there. Much like humans as well. And... not really too many other characters to choose from. Just the big three.

riku because he showed me that even though you betray your friends they will still be your friend once you showed them that you were wrong

It was tough, it was hard to choose between Sora, Riku, and Aqua, but I chose Sora.

I ended up choosing Sora because he always looks at the positive side of things and always puts friends before himself.

Sora Riku or Kairi do anything to save your friends/family

I would have to say Sora has made the greatest impact on me. He showed me how to stay positive in a dark situation and no matter how much pain you may feel, no matter how unsure your future may be, your heart is the most powerful weapon of all and that is the key to changing your world; the heart is strong and as long as you continue to let it shine, no one will ever knock you down for good.

This was so hard for me. All to me taught me thing I never knew.

They tell about friendship. Aqua went in the realm to save Terra from going in the Realm of Darkness.Sora "stabbed" himself to let Kairi have her heart back.Terra protected his friends. Ventus put his friends first. Kairi left Destiny Islands to find Riku and Sora.Axel was humorous,Xion chose the option to go back to Sora wake up. Roxas had feeling for Xion when she died. Riku first chose darkness, but he went to the road of twilight or dawn.

Xion, her story is so sad.. :(

Riku because he has fought through in a lot of tough situations and saved himself from being consumed by darkness

Sora, He has taught me since i was a kid, that no matter how bad a friend messes up, you never give up on somebody you care about.

Edit: i am going to do a 2nd one too

Riku, He taught me when i was a kid, that no matter how bad you mess up, you can always turn it around.

Sora.

Roxas, Xion and Axel- 358/2 Days was the first Kingdom Hearts game I played all the way through, and I just loved the relationship together, even when things became horribly wrong for all three of them.

Roxas.  He didn't necessarily impact me the way you're thinking of, but when I examine it, his story has close parallels to mine.  He went from someone naive and foolish about the world and too ignorant to do anything about his situation, to someone aware of himself and willing to carve his own path in life.

I'm so torn between the people in these trios, it was very hard to choose, individually they all carry certain characteristics that have impacted me.

I went with  Riku though, he showed me that everyone has there flaws, and weaknesses, and everyone makes mistakes from time to time, but by accepting those flaws, and thinking of them as challenges rather than something that holds you back, you can will conquer them and ultimately come out making yourself a stronger, better person in the end.  I also learned from him(or his interactions with other characters or lack of) that your true friends and loved ones will always be there for you, and you should know that you will always have them and shouldn't be afraid to turn to them for help, regardless of the circumstances they're not there to judge you they're there to help you through your flaws or weaknesses or tough times.

So yea Riku, though when I first really got into the series, he was the last person I would have thought would have an impact on me, but I guess he did.

I just realized that wasn't a sentence or two, that was like two sentences with comma splice galore oh well!~

Roxas. If it weren't for him, I would be making Sea Salt Ice Cream. And I wouldn't have loved Sea Salt Ice Cream as it's delicious...

Xion has had the largest impact on me.  She showed me that when you have no idea of who you are, what you look like to others and treated horribly, that you still mean something to someone and that even though you may be forgotten, you are still important.

Aqua has to have made the greatest impact in my mind, because unlike the other females of the series, Aqua is focused on the problems of others, and cares more about their welfare than her own. As someone who plans go military in the future, this meant a lot to me, because that's what the military is about--fighting for the person beside you, not for yourself.
