Would you want to see new books and/or movies of the Harry Potter series?

Definately. The great thing about Harry Potter is that the world is so developed and so open ended that even if you weren't to write on Harry, there would still be subject matter to create very compelling stories around.

J.K. Rowling wrote another very successful book using a pseudonym. It's called "The Cuckoo's Calling" I think.

Maybe? But the story was wrapped up well enough as it is. Sure, it can be continued, but I fear it may begin to lose its charm.

That would be cool. If they takled the children's story, then maybe, but right now, the story's already run it's course. y'know?

I would like to see it. The ending was good but I would like to see what else they could come up with.

Maybe a prequel or something about the founders of Hogwarts, or Voldemort's/Dumbledore's childhood. But nothing post-Harry.

No. But a new bad guy could pop up and the story follows Harry's kids.

Yeah definitely. Either a movie of the marauders, or a new series of the next-gen kids.

I like Harry Potter,but don't know if I want to see an other movie.Maybe a prequel could be interesting

ARE YOU INSANE?! If books six and seven are any indication, if J.K. Rowling were to pick up her pen for another HP book, the world would be bathed in hellfire just to put an end to what a horrible abomination it would be!

I'm against this sort of thing. There's a chance it would be good, but really small. They gave it an awesome ending, and the series is perfect this way, so if someone would try to add more stuff, odds would be that it wouldn't be good, or the public wouldn't like it.

In order to preserve the series, to keep at it's best as it is, I wouldn't create more complications, so I don't really want more books or movies.

I love the books and that's why I wouldn't want to get more of them. The story is complete now and it doesn't need anything more anymore, sure it would be interesting to get to know more of Harry's parents and Snape and Sirius and others and the time they were young for example, yes, I'd love reading of them, but a part of the charm of the series is the mystery and the fact that you don't know everything and how you only get to know about James and Lily only by other people's stories and such. I wouldn't like to see any future stories either nor books of Harry's kids. I think a good series have an end. If they'd just go on forever, they'd anyway become worse sooner or later + usually new books in series which were supposed to end earlier aren't as good as the older ones.

 

What I wouldn't mind seeing are new school books or something like that, like Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and the others.

Well a sequel would be a horrible idea.A prequel maybe something related to the Marauders would be interesting though

I've only seen one of the movies and read half of the first book. It's a good series, but I don't think I'll catch up anytime soon. From what I've heard, the series is pretty much finished so there's no need to continue with it. o3o
